Methodology How- The group collected data from site A, B and C which were longshore drift wave height wave frequency and beach profile. To collect data from longshore drift a tennis ball was used as well as bamboo flags. The ball was throw in the water, the beginning and end position were marked and the distance inbetween them were measured the direction the ball travelled was also noted. For wave height two members were needed to hold a meter ruler and to observe accurate measurements which was done by minusing the wave trough by the wave crest. For wave frequency a member counted the number of waves in a given time. For beach profile using two pvc pipes with nylon cord connecting the pvc pip 1 metre apart and ensuring the nylon cord was level using an app. The first pole was moved 1 metre along the transect line and by ensuring the nylon cord is level we measure the height of the nylon on each pole and calculate the difference. This was repeated till we met the water’s edge When- October 15th, 2022. From 12pm to 5pm Where- Clifton Hill beach, Point Fortin, Trinidad
