DESCRIPCION
Estudio académico de la religión cristiana como parte de la cultura. Enfatiza la vida y enseñanzas de
Jesús de Nazaret y sus implicaciones para las comunidades cristianas y la sociedad pluralista de hoy.
Explora los diálogos de la fe cristiana con la sociedad, las ciencias y tecnologías y con la pluralidad de
credos existentes. Promueve el compromiso y el servicio comunitario en el contexto de la
mundialización. Curso medular.

OBJETIVOS
Se espera que al finalizar el curso, el estudiante pueda:

Analizar la vida y enseñanzas de Jesús y sus implicaciones como modelo de vida para las
comunidades cristianas, la sociedad y la cultura contemporánea.
Identificar los diálogos intracristianos e interreligiosos en la sociedad pluralista.
Identificar los diálogos de la fe cristiana con las ciencias y la tecnología.
Apreciar la pertinencia de los principios y valores de la fe cristiana para la comunidad, el medio
ambiente y la justicia social en la sociedad pluralista actual.

Servicios Auxiliares o Necesidades Especiales
Todo estudiante que requiera servicios auxiliares o asistencia especial deberá solicitar los
mismos al inicio del curso o tan pronto como adquiera conocimiento de que los necesita, a
través del registro correspondiente, en el Centro de Orientación.
B.
Honradez, fraude y plagio
La falta de honradez, el fraude, el plagio y cualquier otro comportamiento inadecuado con
relación a la labor académica constituyen infracciones mayores sancionadas por el Reglamento
General de Estudiantes. Las infracciones mayores, según dispone el Reglamento General de
Estudiantes, pueden tener como consecuencia la suspensión de la Universidad por un tiempo
definido mayor de un año o la expulsión permanente de la Universidad, entre otras sanciones.
C.
Uso de dispositivos Electrónicos
Se desactivarán los teléfonos celulares y cualquier otro dispositivo electrónico que pudiese
interrumpir los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje o alterar el ambiente conducente a la
excelencia académica. Las situaciones apremiantes serán atendidas, según corresponda. Se
prohíbe el manejo de dispositivos electrónicos que permitan acceder, almacenar o enviar datos
durante evaluaciones o exámenes.

Otras notas importantes
A. No se ofrecerán exámenes de reposición bajo ninguna circunstancia. Cada estudiante es
responsable de tomar el examen en los días habilitados.
B. Todo estudiante que se ausente del curso no entrando al mismo diariamente es responsable del
material habilitado para el curso.
C. No se aceptarán trabajos y asignaciones por correo electrónico sino por la plataforma de BB.
