It teaches the learners basic cell biology, the basic anatomy of all systems of the human body, and the basic normal physiological functions of each organ. Laboratory time will be spent on inquiry- based activities along with basic skill-building, including using the microscope. Students will be challenged to develop scientific thinking, reading, and writing skills throughout the course.
