Let us now review our previous lesson,
What was our topic in our previous lesson?”
To find out if you can still remember it. I will give you this activity “ WHAT I
KNOW” in your module on page 2.

B. Activity/ Motivation
Task 1: Simply identify!
There will be a box filled with sentences. With the music playing, the box will
be passed on in a zigzag pattern. When the music stops, the person who is holding
the box will pick out one sentence. He/ she will identify the adjective used in each
sentence.

A. WHAT IS IT
What are those words and how are they arranged accordingly?
Those words are adjective that are used to describe and provide more details about
a noun or pronoun. It adds beauty, excitement and interest to the listeners or readers.
For example, red, quick, happy, and unpleasant are adjectives because they can
describe things – a red cap, the quick rabbit, a happy duck, an unpleasant smell. It
helps you express your ideas more clearly by allowing you to give additional
information about words. Adjectives also help the readers to have a clearer picture of
what the writer is talking about.
B. For more understanding and deeper discussion on this topic ,teacher may refer
on pages 3-7 of SLM,Q1Module 4.2.
