Roles and Responsibilities of Mentor (Indicative) Mentorship: Every student will be allotted a Mentor, who shall be responsible for the student throughout the four semesters. The following shall be the responsibilities of the mentor. • • • • • Analysis and understanding the student Classification/grading/Profiling Interview techniques/GD/Aptitude/ Current Awareness Grooming Taking corrective actions Mentee Data: Every Mentor shall maintain, a mentorship sheet, which shall be reviewed and commented by respective mentors as and when necessary. The mentor may ask assistance of class coordinators, Domain faculty, placement cell for respective students on the sheet. Mentoring: • Faculty from respective management institute to work as mentor. • Per mentor, around 30 students to be assigned. • Number of students could increase or decrease depending on the student to teacher ratio. • Same mentor to remain for the entire duration of the MBA program. • Student should be offered faculty support to solve specialization specific placement queries. • TPO to share, with Mentor, all placement related information that will help the mentor guide and counsel the student as well as Aon Cocubes Scorecards (for students assigned to mentor) that will help the mentor know the standing of the student, prior as well as after training. • Mentor to record student information in Mentor sheet given. • Mentor to counsel and groom the student in developing a profile; including skill sets, in the area of specialization of the student. • Meeting with the student, atleast once every month for grooming and counseling from career perspective; thereby leading to profile development. • Maintaining a copy of student records (CV, academic performance, certificates from participation in events, courses, workshops, training etc, Aon Cocubes scorecards, attendance in STP as well as other training activities organized by the CPC). • Assisting the TPO with counseling the student for participation in placement activities.
