MY OCCUPATIONAL INTERESTS
OCCUPATIONAL INTERESTS (BASED OCCUPATIONAL INTERESTS
ON NCAE RESULTS)
(BASED ON PREFERENCE
AND PLAN AFTER SCHOOL)
Rank 1: Architecture and Construction
Rank 2: Natural Sciences
Rank 3: Professional Services
6
My
current
occupational
interests are The Arts,
Professional Services, and
Media and Communication. My
plans after I graduate in senior
high school is to really find a
side hustle that would fit my
skills, as a soon-to-be senior
high school graduate, as well
as gaining satisfaction with
regard to such. While
searching, I would also try to
continue my education in
college for I know that the
education in this country is very
crucial.
ACTIVITY SHEET 1:
MY OCCUPATIONAL INTERESTS
PROCESS QUESTIONS
1. Did you experienced mismatch of occupational interests based on your
NCAE results and based on your self-assessment and plan after senior
high school?
- Yes.
2. What occupational interest will you consider in choosing a curriculum
exit?
- I suppose, the occupational interest that I would consider in choosing
a curriculum exit is Professional Services.
3. After doing the activity what realizations or insights did you have
as a senior high school learner who is about to exit after a few months?
- I have come to a realization, as I just finished the activity, that
being a senior high school student is not just any other level of
education. It seemed to be the mere transition to everything. To a deeper
level of understanding, to a wider range of serious struggles and
difficulties, and to the inevitable reality.
7
ACTIVITY SHEET 2:
My entry point in the exit
Draw a symbol to represent the life and career you imagine to have
after entering your chosen curriculum exit. Briefly explain why you
have chosen that symbol.
I've chosen to draw this particular symbol mainly because of how I
perceive my life after I enter a specific curriculum exit—which is
starting from zero till I reach something I could consider as a
significant one. Becoming of what I desire for my life and career as I
enter a specific curriculum exit would mean quite a bit happiness within
for I know that nothing is achieved instantly, but nevertheless, there
is the interest as well as joy, in taking the path I would choose.
8
ACTIVITY SHEET 2:
My entering point in every exit
PROCESS QUESTIONS
1. Why did you choose that symbol?
- I have chosen to create this symbol due to the reason that, just like
the approximately red, brush-stroked circle is established from its faint
shade, to slowly becoming more vivid as it reaches its other end, my
life—particularly with regard to my proficiency as well as my skills as
a student and individual, after entering a particular curriculum exit,
would practically go back to scratch for I consider every such exit as
a new path towards reality, and that would mean to me of restarting
almost everything. However, restarting things would also signify of
learning new things which would soon develop myself as I go through the
circle of life just like the symbol getting thicker as it reaches the
other end above.
2. How does it relate to your choice of curriculum exit after Senior
High School?
- As I am thinking of entering the curriculum exit that is higher
education, I suppose, the relation with which to the symbol I've created
is like—as I mentioned in my previous answer, is restarting almost
everything. Learning in the higher education would mean of unlearning
things that I've learned from my past experiences, as well as re-learning
things that I've quite forgot. And with that nature, I believe that those
would strengthen myself as I would be taking the course I desire in my
life.

Journal reflection 1:
My meaningful exit from senior high
school
In all honesty, I seriously have no idea on what to state in
this part because in the first place, I don't even know how
my exit from Senior High School would be meaningful in all
possible ways. But as I was writing the sentence before this,
I imagined that my exit might get meaningful, only if I let
go some of the negativities within me. Now, surely, that would
mean a lot, to me, for I may finally look at other things,
people's situations, without thinking about it in some other
way. For I may finally be able to watch other people do their
own things, without anticipating those in a quite not good
custom. For I, as an individual, may finally look at other
people before I exit the Senior High School—equally.

MODULE 2:
DISCOVERING THE
C’s
12
MAIN ACTIVITY:
Labor market carousel
Technology - As
the modern
society are being more engaged
with up-to-date technology,
where most of the necessities
and wants across-the-board are
transpiring in such, the demand
of global labor workforce is
constantly arising to aid the call
of the public.
Globalization - As the needs
and wants of the people around
the world are getting rare and
difficult to search, companies
across-the-board are expanding
to different locations to fulfill
the demands of the people,
thus, requiring for the labor
workforce globally.
Outsourcing - As various companies are
GLOBAL
trying to find a way to economize
their stocks and resources, some have
come
up
with
establishing
connections with other companies
internationally, in which, requires the
demand of labor workforce across the
globe for that to occur.
LABOR
WORKFORCE
Demographics and Diversity With a great number of people
needing and desiring for a greater
and better medical care which would
give them an adequate satisfaction,
this demands for a labor workforce
of various people from different
generations in order to propel and
assist that into existence.
13
Changing Workers' Attitude and
Values - As the demand of labor workforce
in different fields of industry—globally, are
elevating, it is crucial that the
laborers/workers are into what they are
doing and working for the continuous
development of their companies as well as
their selves, thus, it is a must to amend
one's attitude and values—especially if
those are descried in part of negation.
Main activity:
Labor market carousel
PROCESS QUESTIONS
1.
How did you find the activity?
- In all honesty, I find this activity dreary—yet, informative.
2.
What information were presented in the Labor Market Carousel?
- The information that were presented in Labor Market Carousel is data
about employment by location and occupation, labor supply and demand,
earnings, unemployment, and demographics of the labor force make up what
is known as labor market information (LMI).
3. How will you use the information you have acquired from the activity
in preparing for you chosen career?
- With the information provided in the task which I have acquired in the
process, I believe I could use those to develop myself more and to
eliminate the traits that will contribute to the destruction of myself
in all aspects.
4.
In relation to your chosen career, what are some of the skills
needed for you to succeed in that particular sector/industry?
- As my chosen career at the moment is to be a Psychologist, I suppose
that some skills which I need to succeed in that specific profession are
critical thinking as well as understanding, ability to contain oneself,
and ability to work under pressure.
14
7 C’s LIFELONG SKILLS
PROCESS QUESTIONS
1. What are the five global trends that affect the global workforce? How
can knowing them help you as a Grade 12 student?
- The five global trends that affect the global workforce are Technology,
Outsourcing, Changing Workers' Attitude and Values, Demographics and
Diversity, and Globalization. Knowing those five would help me, not only
as a grade 12 student, but also as an individual, to prepare myself in
stepping on to the real world, by innovating my skills in various fields
and amending my attitude and values, as well as continuously engaging
with the current changes and updates around the world.
2. How will lifelong learning help you to succeed in life and career?
- I suppose, learning all throughout my life adventure is a great
opportunity as it gives me, deliberately, life lessons that I need to
learn in every challenge that I will encounter, for me to develop and
innovate myself as a whole. And with that preceding reason, that would
be an important contributing factor in order for me to achieve my success
in life and chosen career.
3. Do you agree with Heraclitus when he said, “the only constant is
change.” Explain.
- I have heard this quote for quite a few years ago, and now that I
encountered it again, I realized that it is quite true. Change is
constant and may considered as inevitable as Time is too as well. One
may find a course through Time but the rest can't go back to live in the
past. They must keep on moving on—and for that to occur, one must make
some changes.
4. How will you implement the seven C’s if lifelong skills in your life
and career?
15
- I presume, I could apply the seven C's of lifelong skills in my life
and career through letting myself engage with other things as well as
other individuals for me to gradually understand and apply those seven
that would help me get through with my life and career.

REFLECTION:
As our mantra goes on with, “Maging dalubhasaan, hasain ang karunungan;
pamilya’y maging sandigan, upang kaunlara’y makamtan ng bayan.” I believe
that I can give this an adequate satisfaction with my personal mission
statement as I consider my family as well as my desires and needs, as
part of the most valuable matters in my life to which I could use to
propel myself to be better to be motivated at most, and to work with the
things to the best I can do, as a senior high school student, who is
about s few steps away from treading to a new chapter of being a learner.
In line with this, as I am interested in some things with regard to arts
despite the fact that I would still want and consider myself to be an
aspiring psychologist someday, I believe that with the comfort I am
feeling in when I am working with my welfares, from which I could also
connect this in developing the skills that I need to be one, it would
bring a lot of positivity to me, to the people that surround me, and as
well as the fulfillment of the watchword our group has established with.

How did you find the activity?
To my way of thinking, I could say that the activity is indeed a
valuable, for introduced to other things to which would certainly help
me in my career planning for the future.
2.
What do these mystery words mean to you?
In all honesty, as those words are still yet familiar to me, I
cannot reflect on any of those. However, if the aforesaid matters have
something to do with my individuality as a graduating student, I would
say that all of which would mean of careful process, at least to my way
of thinking, which would be totally crucial in my ongoing journey.
3.
Do you think you can further grow or progress after landing a job,
having a vocation or establishing a business? How?
Yes. Because I do consider the logical reasoning that through the
act of believing in oneself, in my case as a senior high school student
and a graduating learner, along with the constant deed of transmuting
one’s ideas and thoughts into its physical equivalent, the notion of
growing after the period of schooling would be certainly possible.

MY CAREER DESTINATION PLOT
PROCESS QUESTIONS
1.
How did you find the activity?
In all honesty, I did find the activity quite a bit objective, in
a way where it made me state the things which I would want to attain at
some point in my life.
2.
What percent of your short-term goals did you already accomplish?
Enumerate those goals.
I suppose I have already accomplished a considerable 60% of my
short-term goals. These are:
(1) To be recognized as with/with high honors from 7th grade until
Senior High School
(2)
To belong in the class Top 10 in 11th grade
(3)
To be part of the overall Top 10 in 11th grade
3.
What short-term goals were you not able to accomplish yet? What
midterm and long-term goals do you still want to pursue?
Short-term goals: to be able to belong to the class Top 10 in 12th
grade; to be able to be part of the overall Top 10 in 12th grade; to
pass and enroll in any of the universities that I have and would apply.
Midterm goals: to be able to have a side hustle while studying in
college; to be able to graduate in college with flying colors.
46
Long-term goals: to become a successful psychologist; to own a
house, to travel in chosen countries; to do the other things that I want
in life; and to live a happy and contented life.
4.
What realization do you have now after comparing your
accomplishment with your set target? (To deepen their realization on the
lifelong learning gaps which they need to fill in, and connect them to
the next activity, ask the students to choose their pair and discuss
question number 5 in 5 minutes)
Through the act of comparing the related matters, I have realized
that I am half-way through my journey as a student, or at least that’s
what I am seeing with the goals I have already and still yet to achieve.
5.
Aside from your reflected career goals, what other goals do you
want to achieve in your spiritual personal, and social life? Do you think
you already possess all the lifelong learning skills you need to truly
succeed and advance in life and career?
The other goals to which I have been planning to attain in my long
run as an individual, would remain to be unknown to anyone but myself
I’m afraid, for I am indeed serious about such, nevertheless, at the end
of the day, I would want to attain a happy and contented life.
I don’t think I have already the total skills that are in need with
reference to my lifelong learning as a graduating senior high school
student, however, I do believe that with the stable mind and ideas which
I have, I could advance in my life and career so as to truly succeed.

MY CAREER PHILOSOPHY
As a Senior High School student, I know this profession is challenging.
I have set out on a path in the field of psychology so that I could
assist those who are in need of psychological assistance.
I believe that to succeed in becoming a psychologist you must have
willpower, good working habits, good analyzing skills, and good
memorization skills.
I believed in the saying that, “The only limitation is that which one
sets up in one’s own mind.” That is why I will forbid myself from giving
up by any means.

EVALUATION:
WRITE A LETTER TO YOUR FUTURE
SELF
Dear future self,
To start off with the things I would like to say, I
hope this letter finds you in good health. Genuinely, I admire how you
try with the things you really want to have, or perhaps, experience.
Even in the slightest thing, you always try to make a way just to get a
chance to glance with such—tangible or not. But if I were to ask you one
thing, that would probably be the person who make judgements objectively,
and not the opposite. The one who thinks well, and healthy. I hope that
as you are reading this, it brings you to the nostalgic feelings that
you once felt back in the days where things would just seem to be easy
as you once thought of how life was. I hope that as you are reading this,
you will be currently sitting on a swivel chair, nothing ordinary as it
would be your own; a cup of liquid resting on a mahogany table, with
couples of papers stacked on it. But on top of those, I hope that you
as you read this letter, you would gently smile while your left hand
would slightly touch a sculpted long piece of wood, where a name was
written, of no one but yours.
Sincerely,
Mohaimen Aba
