SCRIPT FOR THE OPENING PROGRAM OF THE BSP AND GSP BACKYARD CAMPING JOLINA: Being a scouter is not an easy task since you have a lot of duties and responsibilities to perform; however, if you live by the heart the promises and the laws of being a scouter, nothing is impossible to do. **Good Afternoon! Welcome to the 2023 BSP and GSP School Backyard Camping of San Isidro Elementary School! CARLO: For us to know the fulfillment of the Scout’s promises, a camping is held here at San Isidro Elementary School in which the campers are grouped together to unite and to build a good relationship. ____ National Anthem - Invocation______ JOLINA: This afternoon, we will assess the good attitudes of our scouters through our Backyard Camping. Today, these values are just as relevant in helping the youth to grow to their full potential being. Scouting helps the youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives. CARLO: To promote and encourage professional development among leaders and scouters, may I call on stage our principal, Mam Nelia C. Infante to give us her welcoming remarks. Let’s give her a big hand. - Thank you Mam ____ Pledge of Allegiance/Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas__ CARLO : Our Flag — the Sun and Stars — is the living symbol of our country, the Philippines. It is the emblem of our nationhood, of what we have been, of what we are, and of what we hope to be. In our flag are crystallized our common aspirations as Filipinos and our collective vision for our country's future. To lead the Pledge of Allegiance, may I call on BSP Scout Kian Nathaniel G. Infante _____ BSP/GSP Promise and Law______ JOLINA: The Scout Oath and Law are shared by every member of the scouting group. An oath is a way a scout agrees to act every day towards one another and other people, and the Law outlines a way to act towards one another and the world. To lead the Oath and Law of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, is BSP Scout Jeffrey M. Baluyut. CARLO: Girl Scouts of all ages recite—and live by—the ideals listed in the Girl Scout Promise and Law. They remind us to do our best in being kind to others, respecting ourselves, making the world a better place, and so much more. The Girl Scout Promise is a commitment families can make to support the local Girl Scout community as they grow, bond, and learn together. To lead the Promise and Law of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, GSP Scout Lorraine W. Tapang. __________ Roll Call/Scouts’ Yell_____________ JOLINA: We are about to go to the exciting part of the program. The Scouts Yell.
