sativum.

passed from person to person and are mainly of a long duration and progress slowly. NCDs
include cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancers, chronic lower respiratory diseases, sickle
cell disease, mental illness and injuries.
3 Non Communicable diseases:cancers, cardiovascular disease, diabetes
4.Three Possible Solutions
a.Pumpkins-A pumpkin is a cultivar of winter squash that is round with smooth, slightly ribbed
skin, and is most often deep yellow to orange in coloration. In addition to beta carotene,
pumpkins offer vitamin C, vitamin E, iron, and folate -- all of which strengthen your immune
system. More pumpkin in your diet can help your immune cells work better to ward off germs
and speed healing when you get a wound.A sweet item that can be made from pumpkin is
pumpkin pie and a savory item is Pumpkin Chili
b.Mango-A mango is a type of tropical tree belonging to the flowering plant genus Mangifera. It
is a stone fruit called Drupe, which is produced from the mature ovary of one or more
flowers. The antioxidants in mangoes may offer some protection against some cancers, including
breast colon and prostate. One sweet item that can be made from mango is mango ice cream
and one savoury item that can be made from mango is Mango Rice.
c.Okra-Okra or Okro, Abelmoschus esculentus, known in many English-speaking countries as
ladies' fingers or ochro, is a flowering plant in the mallow family. It is valued for its edible green
seed pods. The geographical origin of okra is disputed, with supporters of West African,
Ethiopian, and South Asian origins.Okra has a sweet, grassy flavor that takes on more depth
with longer cooking and a texture that can be crisp and juicy or dense and creamy. One sweet
item that can be made from okra is Okra Juice one savoury item that can be made from Okra is
Shrimp and Crab Gumbo.
5.Advantages and disadvantages of
each solution
Pumpkins● ADVANTAGES1.It strengthens your immune system, more pumpkin in your diet can help your immune
cells work better to ward off Germs and speed healing when you get a wound.
2.Insoluble fiber keeps your digestive system healthy.
●
DISADVANTAGES1. Make sure to avoid pumpkin-based junk foods, as they are often packed with added
sugar.
2. It's mildly diuretic in nature and may harm people who take medicines such as lithium.
Okra● ADVANTAGES1.Okra is rich in vitamins A and C
2. Okra is rich in vitamins A and C\
●
DISADVANTAGES-
1.Okra's insoluble fiber helps keep your digestive system in great shape and lubricates
the large intestine. The fiber in okra also feeds the good bacteria in your gut, which
promotes a healthy intestinal tract. That ultimately leads to less cramping, bloating and
other unpleasant stomach problems.

Mango● ADVANTAGES1. Packed with nutrients
2.May help prevent diabetes
●
DISADVANTAGES1.Because mango is rich in fibre and high consumption of fibrous fruits may cause
diarrhoea problem
2. Since it has high natural sugar content, it may be harmful to diabetics.

How to make a mango
Steps:
1.Cut open mango to remove seeds. The seed will be inside a husk
2.Clean the seed husk.
3. Using a pair of strong scissors, such as kitchen shears, carefully cut the edge of the seed
husk, allowing you to open the husk and remove the seed. The seed will be slippery, so proceed
with caution.
4.Soak the seed in a cup of water for 24 hours.
5.Moisten a paper towel. Make sure it is damp throughout, but not soaking wet. Wrap the seed
in the paper towel.
6.Place the seed and paper towel inside a sandwich bag, and store the seed in a warm place.
7.Monitor the seed’s progress every few days, watching for sprouts. Germination time will
depend on air temperature and the mango’s ripeness when the seed is extracted.
8. Plant the seed in potting soil, making sure not to cover the new leaves.
Safety procedures
Be careful when cutting the seed husk with big shears or scissors
When you plant the seed in the soil make sure not to cover the new leaves
Remember the seed will be slippery so precede with caution
Testing of completed project
This project has fulfilled all the requirements in the challenge page and this project came out
exactly as its ratings in the finished Projectr
Where can this project be used by,who
can it be used by and
This project can be used by farmers and people interested in growing more fruits or having a
farm and it can be used by fruit or vegetable farms.
What can be changed about this project
and why
I would change the dry colours just black and with because the project will look more fun and
playful and happy
Reflections
Avi=i really enjoyed working on this project with my friends. It gave us a chance to become
closer and work on our team building skills.
Javed=I thought working on this project would just be boring but it has opened my eyes and has
shown me what it's like to be on a team and help each other and benefit from helping each
other.
Aaden=The project made me realize that being on a team can give you a sense of purpose and
accomplishment.
Chad=being on this team was insanely fun and I hope we can all be together for other projects.
