Just like traffic violations, we have rules at play, but still have citizens not abiding by them, is the case with
discrimination where the statutes alone can’t help, and a need to change the attitudes is required.
More emphasis within education, advertising, media to reduce stereotypes and
improve role models.
More campaigns from the cities/states to emphasis within education and advertising than just being a
part of complaint driven system.
It's difficult to police the amount of discrimination.
Many unintentional and intentional violations go unreported but leave a psychological impact on the
affected individual.
Prison and Detention center conditions unreported
The places designed to correct the violations for certain offences against the law of the land, have cases
where the Human rights violations goes unreported in majority cases as per: 2021 Country Reports on
Human Rights: Canada as conducted by U.S. Department of State
Often conflicts with Freedom of thought, belief and expression.
Human Rights violations often get conflicted with freedom of thought, belief and expression, where
citizens argue they are free to express what they think, but conflictingly violate the regulations of Human
Rights code.
