Psyc 2013 Fall 2021 Grading rubric for CASE STUDY PROJECT Projects are graded using a scoring guide with 20-point scales that assess aspects of the case study highlighted below. They are added to yield a score with a maximum of 100. Each 20-point scale is graded based on viewing 12-13 as D (minimally passing), 14-15 as C (adequate but with a number of limitations), 16-17 as B (good in most respects), and 18-20 as A quality work (excellent work with a number of strengths and few limitations). The dimensions are: 1. Focused introduction to the relevant theory and research, citing textbook, and derivation of explicit hypotheses from them 2. Sound and substantial research plan with appropriate, well-described methodology (e.g., questioning strategy) 3. Clearly, fully, and logically reported results 4. Plentiful and sound interpretations explicitly referring to textbook and other course material to evaluate whether or not hypotheses are supported and to interpret results; statement of strengths & limitations 5. Clear communication and logical organization of information and thoughts throughout; proper citation of sources
