Escalation of Plant Pals Project - On-Time Delivery Concerns
To Director of Operations, HR Specialist, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and
Director of Product,
I am writing to bring to your attention a critical issue that has arisen in relation to the Plant
Pals Project. As the project manager, I have been closely monitoring the progress and have
identified a problem that requires immediate attention.
The issue at hand is that we don't have enough drivers to deliver all of the orders on time.
As a result, we have only been able to deliver 80% of the plants successfully. This has led
to poor customer satisfaction and some customers have already canceled their
subscriptions. To avoid sending the next batch out late, we need to raise the on-time
delivery rate to at least 90%. A delay could create even more issues such as setting back
the project timeline, risking product quality, and hurting revenue.
I propose the following course of action:
Increase the number of drivers available for the delivery process.
Optimize the delivery routes to reduce the time taken for delivery.
Provide additional training to drivers to improve their efficiency.
Consider using a third-party delivery service for the remaining deliveries.
To achieve this, I am requesting your immediate assistance in:
Approving additional budget to hire more drivers.
Reviewing and approving the new delivery routes.
Arranging additional training for drivers.
Approving the use of a third-party delivery service.
Given the urgency of this matter, I would appreciate a prompt response and action.
