Let’s talk about … NAD Injections at Anew You! Maybe you;ve heard the recent buzz about NAD, and how it is “the new fountain of youth” or “antiaging miracle. Unfortunately, doctors haven’t yet discovered how to actually turn back the clock on aging.. but we are getting closer all the time. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD for short) is normally found in our bodies and it is required for all literally functions of the body. It’s referred to as a co-enzyme technically speaking, but it assists every cell in the body to do its job. Most importantly, it helps repair DNA, the blah blah. Basically NAD helps to heal the brain and body at the cellular level. Tissue remodeling and cellular repair Reported Benefits of NAD DNA Repair Increased Metabolism Increased Energy Reduced Inflammation Relief from Acute and Chronic Pain Better memory and Focus Enhanced Sleep Alleviate substance withdrawal symptoms (alcohol, opiates), and increase the chance of long term recovery from addictive substances Relief from other cravings including food, and help with weight loss and maintenance Help with symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndeome, PTSD, Anxiety, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and More. There are different methods of receiving NAD+. IV (intravenous) infusions and subcutenous injections are by far the most effective. Oral supplementation, patches, and sublingual tablets are also available, but are much less effective. At Anew You, Dr. Sherry Wehner offers NAD+ injections. Although we do have a full compliment of IV nutritional injections in our IV Lounge, IV infusions of NAD+ are more expensive, take several hours for each treatment session (if the proper dosage is given), and cause mild to significant side effects while receiving treatment in many patients (such as nausea, rapid heartbeat, anxiety, etc), such that the treatments have to be stopped and restarted repeatedly depending on patient tolerance. Subcuatneous injections are a newer method of NAD+ treatment and the results have been awesome, with very little if any side effects. If we haven’t peeked your interest by now, then you probably really need to come see us for a free consultation because you may be having trouble focus and brain fog! Obviously, that’s Dr. Sherry’s attempt at a little light hearted humor, but seriously, please come see us for a free consultation and we can tell you more about the benefits of NAD+, perform a complimentary full wellness consultation including hormone evaluation, and discuss all the ways we have to help YOU become… Anew You! Are you excited yet? Because my staff and I at Anew You definitely are!
