Exploring a new
design freedom.
IONIQ 5’s captivating design is a refreshing take on electric
vehicles, stripping away all complexity.
Smooth and seamless with a strong focus on minimalism,
Hyundai’s first-ever clamshell hood spans the entire width of
the car – minimising panel gaps for a clean, high-tech look.
Precisely modelled surfaces and shapes
give IONIQ 5 an angular, almost

Welcome to a whole
new in-car experience.
Featured for the first time with IONIQ 5, and the basis for all
future Hyundai electric models, our dedicated new electric
vehicle platform gives us the opportunity to re-imagine our
interiors and offer a new level of roominess, versatility,
convenience and tranquility.
A flat floor with front seats that can be fully reclined1 and
a flexible centre console that can be slid effortlessly back
between and behind the front seats, all make for an
extraordinary experience and maximise the sheer sense
of openness.
Designed to handle everything you and your busy life can
throw at it, the versatile IONIQ 5 offers plenty of room for
passengers and luggage, providing you with a generous boot
capacity of 527 litres. With the 60:40 foldable seats folded
down and 1,587 litres of space available, IONIQ 5 can
accommodate everything you need for a weekend escape or
bring back that large piece of upcycled furniture from the restorer.
What’s more, environmentally-friendly materials like
eco-processed leather and recycled yarn are used
throughout, adding to the sustainability credentials of our
manufacturing processes.

Namsan Edition takes its name from Namsan Mountain - a scenic
landmark in Central Seoul, South Korea which offers panoramic
views of the city. The Namsan Edition adds additional features
to the specification of IONIQ 5 including the stunning Vision Roof
(a full panoramic glass roof) and Relaxation seats. New technology
includes the UK debut of the Full Digital Side Mirror (DSM) which
improve the driver’s rear view in all weathers.

Vision Roof.
Standard on IONIQ 5 Namsan Edition, Vision Roof provides
the interior with a greater sense of openness as the ceiling
consists of one panoramic glass panel with unobstructed vistas.
Enhanced Ambience to the interior, flooding the cabin with
natural light & allows access for the IONIQ 5’s passengers
to the vehicles surroundings, whilst a retractable motorised
sliding cover can be closed when desired. On the outside,
the visual is enhanced with a full black appearance (Glass)
roof panel.

DSM (Digital Side Mirror).
The DSM (Digital Side Mirror) systems will feature as standard
on the Namsan Edition and utilises two side mounted, low profile
high definition cameras in the traditional side mirror locations,
as well as two interior, door card mounted screens.
This high-tech feature will be available in Europe for the first
time in a Hyundai Motor Group vehicle. The DSM reduce air
resistance and provide IONIQ 5 customers with an enhanced
rear view, even in bad weather. FDM comes as standard
on Premium Trim and above, DSM comes as standard on
Namsan Edition only.

With excellent driving dynamics and impressive acceleration, IONIQ 5 is a game
changer. To meet your mobility needs and performance aspirations, IONIQ 5 is
available with a range of configurations. Choose from two battery variants: 58 kWh
(Standard Range) or 77.4 kWh (Long Range). In addition to the standard 2WD versions,
the 77.4 kWh battery variant is available as an AWD version with dual electric motors.
Here, our signature all-wheel drive system HTRAC™ actively adjusts the driving power
distribution to all four wheels to achieve optimal traction in a variety
of conditions such as snow, gravel and regular road surfaces. It also improves
acceleration, stability and fuel efficiency with either performance or economy in mind.
Maximise your efficiency.
Two paddle shifters behind the steering wheel allow you to choose between 4
different levels of energy regeneration when lifting off the accelerator. By pulling
and holding the left paddle shifter for longer than 0.5 seconds, i-pedal driving
function is engaged, increasing the regenerative braking to its maximum level.

With your Charge myHyundai account, you can locate charging points, check their
availability, plug in your IONIQ 5, charge and pay. All charging sessions and invoices
are easy to find on the Charge myHyundai web portal or your app.
Use the Charge myHyundai app to search for charge points by plug type, charging
speed and method of payment, and to access real-time updates on availability.
The app also comes with a navigation function and an intelligent route planner to

With the Bluelink® app, the ease and joy of driving a Hyundai
starts well before you’re inside. The app communicates with
your car, bringing you key data such as your charging schedule
which allows you to program start and stop charging times,

home or office, then send it to the navigation system in your
IONIQ 5 so it’s ready and waiting for you.

Mile Navigation to finish the journey on foot. If you think

your Hyundai remotely. And, when you’re returning to your
IONIQ 5 after your appointment, Find My Car will guide
you back to the exact spot.

Safety and peace of mind.
With Hyundai Smart Sense, our collection of cutting-edge Advanced Driver
Assistance Systems, IONIQ 5 has been equipped with the very latest safety
features for added convenience and peace of mind.
Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC): Utilises the state-of-the-art
navigation system to anticipate upcoming curves or straights on highways
and automatically adjusts speed for safer driving. Also, if activated, the set
speed also changes automatically whenever the posted speed limit changes.
Forward Collision Avoidance (FCA): The front view camera and radar
sensors warn drivers of imminent collisions with vehicles and objects,
applying the brakes when necessary to avoid collisions. The system
includes Junction Assist (Turning) across the range.
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA): External cameras and the onboard
navigation system combine to monitor road speed limits, keeping you
informed via the navigation screen to keep your pace at a safe speed.
Lane Follow Assist (LFA): Smart sensors and the forward-facing camera
detect when the car drifts from the centre of the lane, applying steering
torque to maintain road positioning for safety. The car also estimates the
trajectory of the vehicle ahead and adjusts its position accordingly.
Lane Keeping Assist (LKA): This system uses the front multi-function
camera to monitor the lines of the road. In case of an unintended lane
departure, it warns you and can apply counter steering torque to guide
the car back to the lane.
High Beam Assist (HBA): Less stress and maximum visibility. HBA not
only detects oncoming vehicles but also vehicles in the same lane ahead
and switches to low-beam as appropriate.

Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA): This clever feature for city
driving alerts the driver when the vehicle in front departs from an idle
state, like at a stoplight or in a traffic jam.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA): Perfect for car
parks. When reversing out of areas with low visibility, the system not
only warns the driver if vehicles approach from the side, it also applies
the brakes automatically.
Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA): Radars detect traffic in the
vehicle blind spot, warning drivers with an audible alarm when the
indicator is used so you can be aware of the traffic around you. It will also
take action itself, braking to help avoid a collision.
Driver Attention Warning (DAW): When a pattern of fatigue or distraction
is identified, the system gets your attention with an alert and pop-up
message suggesting a break.

Highway Driving Assist (HDA): HDA Level 1.5 is cutting-edge semi-autonomous
driving technology that keeps you centred in your lane and adjusts your
speed so you are always at a safe distance from the car in front and within
the speed limit.

number of factors including the starting charge of the battery, accessories fitted
