To find the Math Editor, create a new thread or reply to an existing thread. You will see a text box that looks
like this:
Click on the Math Editor. It may take a few moments to load. If you are having trouble getting it to load, be
sure that you have the latest version of Java installed on your computer. You can get a free download at
www.java.com. Also allow pop-up windows to open in this application.
You will now see this:
Click on the tabs to get different mathematical symbols. For example, in the first tab, you can see the symbols
for exponents, subscripts, radicals, and fractions. Click on a symbol to enter it into the window.
Click inside the empty box within the symbol to enter text:
You can find the Greek alphabet, arrows, union and intersection symbols, logical operators, and many, many
other mathematical symbols here.
When you are finished with your formula, click on Accept at the bottom of the window. You’ll now see your
work in the text box of your discussion posting:
