About Bridal Veil Falls – Jozef Behr The Bridal Veil Falls is the littlest of the three cascades that make up Niagara Falls. It is situated on the American side (in New York State); Luna Island isolates it from the American Falls and Goat Island isolates it from the Horseshoe Falls. Jozef Clifford Behr say that The Bridal Veil Falls countenances toward the northwest and has a peak 56 ft (17 m) wide. Luna Island being tiny, the Bridal Veil is comparative in appearance to the American Falls, beginning with an upward fall of 78 ft (24 m), trailed by the water fiercely plummeting the bone stones to the Maid of the Mist pool 103 ft (31 m) underneath. The complete vertical drop is 181 ft (55 m). The peak rise of the Falls is 508 ft (155 m). The Cave of the Winds fascination permits guests to approach the foundation of Bridal Veil Falls. A passerby span crosses from Goat Island to Luna Island a few yards (meters) upstream from the peak of the falls.
