A blessed morning to you. Start each day with a grateful heart. Let your
talent shine bright , work hard, and make yourself feel worthy. I know you
can do this very well. All the best my dear pupil.
Using simple Tense of Verbs (past, present, future) in
sentences
Verbs Tell Time
● Action done everyday, regularly, from time to time, every week,
every year and others, is in the present tense.
⮚ There are two verb forms used in the present tense of the
verb: s / es form and base form
1. When the subject is singular, use the s / es form.
Examples: Renato reads the story carefully.
The principal inspects the classrooms every morning.
My Dad buys a new car.
Our computer does not function well.
He watches the clouds drifting by.
2
2. When the subject is plural, use the base form.
Examples: The players practice every afternoon.
You change your clothes regularly.
Engineers build structure.
Farmers harvest crops.
Mrs. Valera and her pupils pray the rosary every morning.
