Delhi Government's Desh Ke Mentor Program will benefit 10,00,000 DELHI GOVERNMENT SCHOOL STUDENTS 3 lakhs mentors from all over the country will mentor Delhi Government School students in classes 9th-12th in their career andlife exploration journey A Youth-led mentoring program where well educated young people guide students studying in Govt schools. The Objective of the Program Mentor will help increase career awareness of students studying in Delhi government schools. Mentors will create a safe space for students where they can openly share their challenges, questions and dillemas. Mentors have an open dialogue around life and career choices for students since students' have no one to guide them, because they come from low-income communities. How will Desh Ke Mentor work? 2-6 MONTH PROGRAM WHO WILL BE ENGAGING OUR MENTORS "SUPERB MENTORS" Desh Ke Mentor Programme is a 2 to 6 months program with the first 2 months as a mandatory module and the rest 4 months as optional Mentors will come from various professional backgrounds or from prestigious academic institutions Mentors coming from thriving backgrounds between ages 18-35. The mentor could be a student in a university, doing a job or an entrepreneur running their own business 10 MINUTE DESH KE LIYE THE M ENTORING JOURNEY Mentors will interact with mentees on a regular basis, i.e.,once a week over a phone call and understand their mindset to support them in a meaningful manner Mentor will help the mentees in their overall growth and personality development by sharing their knowledge, skills and expertise over various fields How to register as a Desh Ke Mentor?
