I reached at there at 1:30 pm and met some previous interview candidates. They said me
some cordial language about the interview and some question s that were asked to them .
According to them questions are basically come from sports, lic, hobby, corrent
news , economic subject (who had economic subject in hons or pass )
About interviewmember :
There are three interviewer. Out of them one is lady sitting in the middle .
In my feelings they all are non-oriya . but some of my friends saying one of them is oriya
. they are very cordial and adjustable persons . they are asking very simple questions
that the candidates can answer.
They divided all the candidates in groups in such a way that each group
contains 15 candidates and in a day only two groups are called . one is in morning from
10am to onwards and the other is from 3pm to onwards. First they do verification in a
room and after some times they call for interview. Averagely the interview of the
candidates takes 10 to 15 minutes. In our group only 9 candidates are present. And in our
previous batch 9 candidates are also present.
My interview starts from 5:45 pm and ends in 5:57 pm.

Candidate : may I come in sir.
Member 1 (male) : come in
Candidate: ( in gently way I went towards the table ) good afternoon all of you sirs
and mam.
Members (all):good afternoon Mr.santosh. one of the male member said me : please
take your seat .
Candidate: thank you sir.
Madam: ( she kept our applied form and reading this she asked) you are doing computer
course and of mathematic hons.:
Santosh : yes mam.
Madam : what are u doing for the income purpose ?
Snt : tution mam
Madam : for which classes
Snt: to class 6,7,8,9 mam
Madam : not 10 th , why
Snt : mam in class 10 th , there are too much tension , and since I am preparing for
compiting jobs and my presence with them is uncertain .
Madam: (with so much confusion she asked me some computer questions.) you have
done word , power point , excel, internate foundamentals etc
Santosh : yes mam
Madam : can you say the name of a big searching engine?
Santosh : google mam
Madam: ok , can we translate in google .
Santosh : yes mam
Madam : yes ! in any language
Santosh : no mam , but in some particular language
Madam : ok , suppose you are typing in word . and in mistake your finger touched in
caps lock . and the half of the page appeared in capital letter but you need these in small
letter. What shall you do in this case. ?
Santosh : with the format menu we can change the pattern of the letter format
Madam : how
Santosh : first we have to select these and then click in format menu and click in change
case and then we would get our required format /
Madam: suppose you are working in excel . and you have written a long sentence in a
single cell . after some time a very small part of the sentence in this cell and some one
wants to see the whole cell . how will you held him ?
Santosh : first I will click the mouse cursor in this cell and look to the formula bar and in
the formula bar we can see the whole sentence .
Madam : ok santosh ,how will we link among the slides of the power point . ?
Santosh : through hyperlink
Madam : how will we give sound effect to all of the slide ?
Santosh : sorry mam ,really I have forgotten this .
Madam : ok ok
Then she permits a male member to ask me something
Member 1: what is your hobby santosh ?
Santosh : dairy writing sir,
Member 1: what , dairy writing ! what is dairy writing ?
Santosh : sir , I write some thing that I have done in that day in my dairy in night .
Member 1 : what did you write in last day ?
Santosh : sir I wrote about some of my friends and how they courage me for this
interview and some others which is very personal sir.
Member 1: are you playing cricket ?
Santosh : yes sir
Member 1: what do you like to do , bat or bowl ?
Santosh : both sir
Member 1: which type of bowl do u like when u are batting ,spin or pace ?
Santosh : spin
Member 1: what , u like spin which is a difficult one ?
Santosh : sir in my team all spinners are one type of slow pacer that is their bowl spins
very slightly
Member 1 :ok ( all are laughing )
Can you say some of pacer bowler of indian team ?
Santosh : yes sir ,
Member 1 : say

Member 1 .: kumar is also . and say the name of a spiner who leads the team

Member 1 : who is the highest wicket taker in the world ?
Santosh : muthia muralidharan sir ,
Member1 : who is the highest runner in the world ?
Santosh : sachin tendulkar sir,
Member 2: why you like to join lic ?
Snt : the brand name of lic is too popular sir , and this attracts me lot .
Member 2: have u any lic policy?
Snt : no sir , since I am a unemployed , so I am unable to do it sir ,
Madam : say some public service that lic doing ?
Snt : sorry mam.
Madam : lic collects money from the policy holders and invest these in different public
sector . this is the public servive of lic’
Member 1: do you know to kelu charan mohapatra .?
Snt : yes sir ,
Member : who is he ?
Snt : he is a eminent odiss dancer sir ,
Madam : santosh, your smile is too sweet and I like this attitudes most and lastly I say
you best of luck . your interview is over . you may go now
