You have in the next photo, in the left professional tools( handcuff key, a tension wrench, and a pick tool. In the right we have a safety needle and a hair clip. When you travel or you are in a non permissive environment you need tools that will not create problems when somebody find them on you. But to use this tools you need training until you master this skill. I want in this article to underline the importance of knowing the right places on your body to conceal the escape tools. You find this days a lot of products, escape and evasion tool. Kits concealed in skull or flag patches, belts or baseball caps. Even if some of this tools are very useful, what people don't understand is the way in which the abductors are operating. Accesories like caps, belts, watches, shoes will be taken from you in the majority of the cases. The criminals are making their own OSINT (Open Source Inteligence), they ghater informations and are knowing about all this products. You see different videos and tutorials in which somebody is showing how to escape from the zip ties with the hands in front by making an explosiv movement hiting towards your body in a particular angle to broke the zip ties. First this method can work only with thin zip ties, and this if you have the luck to be tied with the hands in front. This can happen if the kidnappers are not professional. If the abductors are knowing what they are doing, you will be restrained without to many chances of escaping. In the image below you can see one type of modified zip ties. Other zip ties are tied on the main ones and they are cutted in a sharp angle. In the moment that are tied this angles will press in your skin and muscle, every movement will produce a lot of pain. FIELD NOTE 1 DARK ARTS ESCAPE & EVASION CONCEALING THE TOOLS DARK ARTS In the image on the left you can see another good place to conceal your escape tools. hiding the tool in the ankle area attached to the inside of the pants will allow you to access it when you are tied with your hands in front but also behind. For this position I recommend as an escaping tool a safety pin. The safety pin can be used to open handcuffs but also zip ties. For the handcuffs the safety pin can be modified in such a way that the tip of the needle has the shape of a hook. MEDITATION on DEATH DARK ARTS “Generally speaking, the Way of the warrior is resolute acceptance of death.” ―Miyamoto Musashi, The Book of Five Rings A warrior must be emotionally detached from the fear of death and doubt generated by his own feelings, from the intimidation emanating from his enemies, outer and inner ones. I will share with you a simple meditation technique about Death. Sit in a comfortable position and be sure you are not disturbed by sounds, telephone, persons or other disturbing factors. Begin to focus your attention on your breathing. Breath slow and deep, relax your body. If thoughts are coming in your mind, don't be attached by them, let them go and come back to the breathing. Visualize in front of you, your own dead body naked. Look at it, see it like an empty vessel. It is only a corpse. Visualize how it begins to enter in putrefaction, how worms begin to eat it, crows are coming from the sky and begin to rip the flesh. It's just a corpse, a vessel. If you feel some interior pain or emotion that makes you not feel good, remember is only your Ego that is trying to fight this. We invest so much time in our body that becomes so precious for us and we forget about our mind, our spirit. Time pass and the corpse begins to dry until remains only bones. Say to yourself: -One day this body that is only a vehicle will have the same faith. Finish your meditation by visualizing in your center heart a bright blue light. You dissolve your body until only the blue beam of bright light remains and then you disolve it also in the empty space. We find in Japan an unique tradition called Kusôzu, that consists in the contemplation of watercolor paintings that depicts the slow decay of a body, usually female, from the first moment of death to the final stage of bare bones, with all the discoloured and bloated steps in between. Kusôzu was introduced to Japan in the 8th Century and was popular until the 19th century during the Edo period and appeared in various formats, including scrolls and printed books. "What better way to get out of the mood for love than by staring at a bloating discoloured corpse as it slowly rots in the open air? " Kusôzu, and its corresponding poetry kusôkanshi, was inspired by Buddhist beliefs that urged followers to meditate on the temporary nature of life and the physical world by focusing on the decomposition of the body after death.
