👁 2/?/2022 Natural Vision Restoration Created @February 9, 2022 10:55 AM Type Lecture Intro I hope all of you young men are doing fantastic today. My name is Aiden and I have been on self-improvement for six months. And throughout my journey, I have been able to meet hundreds of like-minded individuals and grow tremendously because of this group. A special thanks to Syntax, Victory, and Aban for recently promoting me to Disciple and allowing me to host lectures like this. Today’s lecture is going to be about Natural Vision Restoration. Sounds insane, right? But as millions of people have learned and researched, it is absolutely possible. So before we go ahead, I want to thank all of you incredible people for joining my second lecture. My goal is to leave an impact on all of you and I hope you learn something new. 2/?/2022 Natural Vision Restoration 1 Background Info I’ll be going over the negative and positive effects of eyeglasses, contact lenses, why people have worse vision than others, why people get surgery for their eyes (lasik, prk, lens implant), and how you can naturally restore your vision overtime (not 10 years or slowing down the process) With the right methods//techniques, you can actually reverse this process. Disclaimers Before I start, I want to say I am not a medical professional, and all of these are suggestions. I don’t have a fancy piece of paper to tell you what is right or wrong but I have research and experience. If you have a genetic eye condition that is not myopia or astigmatism, here is my advice you can take with a grain of salt (research on your own, talk to professionals) I highly recommend taking time and doing your own research so you can make a more educated choice. some common questions I got asked are: FAQ 1. This is not real, my doctor and mom said my eyes can never heal. They said I need glasses to see! 2. You are born with Astigmatism and Myopia, YOU ARE WRONG! its genetics man common misconceptions people have: You have myopia because of axial elongation. You vision is bad because of too much close-up. You can only see one thing at a time. Your eyes just get worse over time. Myopia is hereditary. 1. Why does my vision get worse every year when I got glasses/contact lenses? (you forget how to see) will talk about it later 2. How long will this take? (depends on commitment) 2/?/2022 Natural Vision Restoration 2 Information 1. You used to have 20/20 vision, what happened? 2. Explaining how your vision worsens (eye muscle tightens) a. bad vision habits (staring at your phones, slouching, focusing on one thing and tunnel visioning, squinting, never resting your eyes) b. The longer you wear glasses or contacts, the more you become dependent on them and your muscle spasm gets stronger. c. Too much close-up can cause a ciliary lockup, but that’s not the cause of myopia. d. I learned much of the problem comes down to tunnel vision! When you only try to see the thing that you are looking at you put a lot of strain on the central part of your ocular system. e. I started to understand that near-sighted vision problems are due to muscle imbalances and the fact that we block ourselves from seeing the way we are meant to see. Tension is the issue and relaxation is the key to restoring the imbalance 3. Astigmatism - definition (a defect in the eye or in a lens caused by a deviation from spherical curvature, which results in distorted images, as light rays are prevented from meeting at a common focus a. cornea becomes football shaped (also can get astigmatism in the lens) b. Example: (right) OD: -4.00, (left) OS: -5.00 Cyl. -1.00 (power of correction) Axis 80 (angle of degrees with astigmatism) c. negative numbers mean nearsighted, positive means farsighted d. study was used and discovered patterns in how people used their eyes e. bad posture, head tilted, created tension and strain by relying on one eye f. Due to glasses being a crutch, your eyes are forced to see this way i. By fixing these bad habits and relieving tension, via bates/active/automatic focus, astigmatism can be healed over time 4. Understanding how your eyes work (automatic focus, and tunnel vision) 2/?/2022 Natural Vision Restoration 3 a. blurry vision, double vision b. Yes, there are physical issues that occur in the eyes that keep you from seeing clearly but the reality is the brain controls all of these functions. When you learn to re-program your brain, seeing clearly becomes easy, but it does take time. c. try figuring out what is in the image 5. why some people have great vision and others don’t a. People notice all their surroundings and things around them that we do not 2/?/2022 Natural Vision Restoration 4 b. That was the beginning of me understanding that I wasn’t seeing the whole picture. I was blocking most of my peripheral view, and it had a big effect on my vision. 6. Why glasses and contacts make your vision even worse (forgetting how to see) similar to crutch 7. Why do people choose to get eye surgery to restore their vision (lasik, pkr, etc) and the costs a. Example: People that had gotten eye surgery more than 5 years ago are either back in glasses or had to get it again 8. Experiences of others and me in our vision restoration journey (examples) 9. Where to start in your vision restoration journey? (Your goal, how much time will you spend, and the first few steps) (people may ask, why can’t I just start?) 10. Believe you can improve your vision! (mindset) 11. WHAT YOU MUST FOCUS ON: It’s not about only about seeing sharp and clear, its about relaxing your eyes. Glasses and contacts have been straining and stressing your eyes for years, so we must work to reverse this. (learn to relax your eyes) Breathing and Posture Awareness and Sensory Trust and Acceptance 12. Simple methods you can use to improve your vision and reduce your prescription a. No glasses (gives faster results) i. instances of times you need and do not need glasses (driving, school, work, watching tv, eating food, going to the bathroom, etc) ii. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5a3tO6mdvY tutorial b. Eye resting exercises (effects of relaxing your eyes) i. sunrise and sunset, sunlight in general ii. palming 2/?/2022 Natural Vision Restoration 5 iii. cold eyewash/proper eyewash (providing more info in resources) c. reducing prescription (slow) 13. Active/Automatic Focus and Bates (fast) Best Method a. explaining what it is b. google/research on your own to find what works best for you (your own truth) c. stationary movement, object movement, and motion movement (?) i. show them potentially (video or send links) d. how it will make your eyes feel (stinging, sensations, moments of clarity) 14. Triangulation One of the first moments I started to see an immediate change in my vision was when I was sitting and just noticing objects in my peripheral. My vision would sharpen as long as I was paying attention to everything in my field of view. I called it, triangulation. It took a lot of concentration, and it was extremely hard at first, but overtime I started to make it a habit to try to see this way all the time.
