Approved/ Proposed SLD with CT/ VT Data is missing
along with the submittal. This document is required
to validate the location of new/ existing CTs in its
respective line bays.
Approved SLD with CT/ VT Data shall be provided for
other end (Main end) as well to review & compare
the CT parameters.
Magnetization curves of CTs at both ends (Main and
Remote end) shall be arranged and plotted in one
plane to conclude the mismatches/ differences, as
the CTs are being used for Differential Protection as
well.

l"Provided SLDs at KMH BSP and Al-Urfan SS show
that the CT parameters for line protection are not
identical to each other. Please clarify the mismatch.
2 -As per Al-Urfan SS SLD with CT/ VT Data, please
clarify whether Vk value is 1200 or 600V. Please
arrange the site name plate data of CTs for
verification.
3 -Confirm the provision of Cable Tail Protection at
Al-Urfan, please communicate the cable length
from GISto gantry" .
CTs are not identical to KMH BSP side line
protection CTs. Please clarify.

updated as per (Attach-1)
Noted & kindly refer to KMH BSP S/S CT/VT
SLD as per (Attach-2)
Kindly note that exiting CT shall be used as
per PTS, however CT sizing calculation was
prepared to check if CT fulfilled relay
requirement or not.
X/R = 4.79 is being used in CT Sizing calculation. If this
value is taken from Planning Department then
respective email confirmation to be attached for
reference. If the values are taken from PTS, then it is
strongly recommended to consider the latest/
updated X/R value from Planning Division to avoid
any real time mismatch.

OHL shall be provided and attached in appendix of
the document. If existing Lines are being used, then
its positive and zero sequence impedances shall be
taken from Planning Division. If new OHL is to be
provided, then respective Conductor Data schedule
shall be arranged from pre-qualified vendor.
Approved/ Proposed Relay list (along with respective
ordering codes) for this end shall be provided and
attached in appendix.
Approved Relay list for Main end shall also be
provided for review and comparison.
Protection Logic diagram for this end (proposed/
approved) shall be attached in appendix to validate
all the protection functions.
Approved Protection Logic Diagram for Main end
shall also be provided/ attached.
Approved Designer Logo shall be provided at the title
sheet/ cover sheet of the document.
