Terms and conditions COVID-19 Measures, Protocols, and Policies: We do understand these are stressful times for everyone as we try to cope with the ongoing Pandemic. That is why we feel these implementations and actions are necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19. COVID-19 Measures - Prior to Training: All students must complete the Screening Questionnaire (click here to access) 24 hours before their in-class training. You do not have to submit this to our office. If you are attending your training, you are confirming that your answer is no to all of the questions asked in the questionnaire. If you answered YES to any of the questions, you need to contact our office and reschedule your training. All students will be asked to complete and sign a copy of this questionnaire on their training day and will only be allowed to attend the training if the answer to ALL questions is NO. The Canadian Red Cross societies have also asked all training partners to screen pre-existing conditions such as allergies causing sneezing and reschedule the training if the participant has sneezing/flu-like symptoms. This extra due diligence is requested from partners to ensure all participants feel safe and secure during the course. If this applies to you, consult our office and we will work with you to find the most suitable option. COVID-19 Measures - During Training: The health and safety guidelines mandate all training providers to ensure all participants Wear a Face Mask during their classes. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they have the necessary coverings to enter the training. As for the First Aid, CPR, BLS, FR, EMR, and other health and safety courses, the mask must be worn during the entire training and cannot be removed unless directed by the instructor during the occasions where proper physical distancing between students is maintained. (For instructions regarding swimming and aquatic classes, please check the swimming terms and conditions section.) ⚠️ Failure to have a proper Face Mask would result in denial of your training without any credit/refund. ⚠️ *Homemade Masks are not accepted We recommend that students also wear a face shield during their training due to group activities that must be performed in the class.
