the 737 New Generation
Airplane.
The inspection begins in the
cockpit.

external AC
power
connected.
Position
System A/B
electric
hydraulic
pump
switches ON.
System
pressures
should read
2800 psi
minimum.

Set the
Parking
Brake.
Check the red
warning light
illuminated.

Position
Landing
and Turnoff
Light
Switches
ON and check
for
illumination;
return
switches to
OFF.

Exterior
Lights:
Check.

Outside the airplane, the
inspection continues. We
begin and end here at the left
forward entry door.

Total Air Temperature ProbeCheck

Check for
damage
and that the
dust
cover has
been
removed.

Angle of attack vane-Check

damage.

security of
attachment,
and dust

Strip. Check conductor
strips for security of
attachment.

Doors-Check
for security
of

for condition,
proper
inflation and

Pin- Check pin installed if
tow/pushback is to be
accomplished.
