Dear Students, as part of LCA sessions, in the coming week, you have two cases to read. I am sure you would have started reading the same. Please prepare your responses (as a powerpoint presentation) to the following questions (new question on a new slide) and make two files (.ppt) for the two cases and upload it in the links sent to you. They shall be evaluated as part of your assignment and I shall randomly ask a student to present his/her deck. This is an individual assignment and there will be a plagiarism check. Please be prepared. We shall cover the cases in the following order: I. Study Questions for Mariott Corporatioin (A): 1. Why is Marriott management proposing project Chariot? What is it trying to accomplish? 2. What is the likely impact of project Chariot on the wealth position of the shareholders? 3. Should Management be concerned by the loss of market value of the bonds if project Chariot is implemented? 4. Is project Chariot a matter of survival for Marriot in the fall of 1992?
