Ventilation systems: Exhaust Ventilation Systems, Supply Ventilation Systems, Balanced Ventilation Systems, Energy Recovery Systems. Design guidelines of air conditioning and ventilation systems: Cooling and heating load calculations, selection of suitable air conditioning/ventilation system for different climate zones. Course Objectives 1. To get familiar with air conditioning and ventilation systems in real time applications. 2. Getting trained on analytical/thermal models and design guidelines related to air conditioning and ventilation system 3. To present engineering solutions to the problems encountered in practical applications 4. Getting trained on consultancy works, start-ups and research topics related to refrigeration/cryogenic system Course Outcome After successful completion of this course one can get familiarized with the air conditioning and ventilation systems, terms, definitions and basic understanding on design of these system related components Essential Reading 1.
