Over the past seven years, I have served as Assistant Communications Director for two large
organizations. As part of my work, I have researched, written and edited articles for company
websites; I have also written press releases and have been responsible for office
communications and correspondence. When working for ABC Company in the years 20162019, I devised and implemented an automated email tool. This tool grew the company's
subscriber base by 40% within six months.

Take turns telling each other about your experience.
When speaking, use the present perfect to give a feeling of extended experience that is not
limited to a specific time (I have traveled in many countries) and use the past simple to talk
about actions you did in the past that are finished (I worked as a waiter in 2019).
Each partner writes sentences about the other partner’s experience: one sentence in the
present perfect and one sentence in the past simple.
