PRE-CONDITIONS:
All personal associated with the job shall be briefed about JSA in their local language prior to executing the job. It is the responsibility of issuer band receiver to
ensure that the persons working at job site are aware of the JSA.
All equipment and hand tools are good conditions and suitable for the job.
Authorizes minimum necessary personnel to enter the area. All other personnel shall stay away from the job site.
CAUTION:
All persons associated with the job shall abide with the safety procedure and complied with the JSA. The JSA shall be cancelled once conditions change at the job
site. The JSA also shall be cancelled if there is change in the method of doing not related with the job. The team shall stop all workers, cancel the permits and reapply in accordance with Saudi Aramco standard procedure.
JSA Stop Triggers
Stop work and evacuate the area if the stop work alarm or plant wide siren is initiated.
Stop work if there is any LEL or H2S Reading.
Stop work if there is any Leakage.
Stop work if the fire watch or stand by left the area.
Stop work if the work permit receiver left the area.
Stop work if you noticed unsafe condition
Stop work If the weather began to increase more than 50 ° C.
Stop working in case water unavailable “No water no work”
Stop work and evacuate the area if stop work alarm or plant wide siren initiated.
Stop work if anyone on of job site not wearing FRC (as per site requirements)
Stop work if job site does not meet work permit conditions and any applicable SA safety and health requirements at any time.
Crane activity must be stopped if the wind speed is more than 32kmph and 25kmph for man basket operation

5.1.10 Daily inspection of equipment shall be performed by operator.
5.1.11 All tools and equipment shall be inspected and color coded. Only tools and
equipment in good working condition shall be used at site.
5.1.12 All required 3rd party certifications of equipment and operators shall be ready
at the work site. SAG license is required for the drivers.
5.1.13 Close supervision of work is required during the whole duration of any site
preparation and earthworks activities.
6.1.1 All Drivers shall have a Saudi Arabian Government driver’s license.

drainage arrangements that may affect integrity of the ground during
mobilization must be marked and barricaded.
6.3.2 Maintain a safe distance from the edge of excavation while travelling.
6.3.3 A well compacted access must be provided.
6.3.4 Do not overload the equipment
6.3.5 Drivers/operators must conduct daily inspection of their equipment for any
defect to ensure it is in good working condition.

materials. Offloading shall be performed gradually.
Equipment cabin shall not be covered with sun protector so as not to obstruct
the view of the operator.
Avoid simultaneous operation of equipment movement in congested areas.
Backfilling equipment are the only permitted equipment within 2 meters of the
edge of excavation.
Assign trained flagman to control traffic movement.

monitor the temperature, humidity and determine heat stress categories for
work location.
9.2.6 Comply Saudi Aramco requirements on Heat Stress Index Danger Category
and Heat Index.
9.2.7 Use a calibrated weather meter
9.3.1 If water accumulated or the area is flooding due to rain, wait to subside before
resuming the work.
9.3.2 If water is present in the area, de-watering shall be performed by installing
submersible pumps. Re-assess the area if the equipment can work safely.

12.1.5 Permanent materials to be isolated/ identified from construction materials
12.1.6 Disposal of work-generated wastes / rubbish (solid or liquid) shall only be at
SA-approved sanitary land fill.
12.1.7 Excavation debris shall be collected without delay and at minimum disposed
of daily at approved dumpsite pre-assigned by client or local municipality.
12.1.8 Craft Supervisors shall always pay due regard to acceptable housekeeping.
12.1.9 Good housekeeping compliance to be enforced through daily work permits

Task-specific JSA to be developed by Craft Supervisor shall include
proper housekeeping & requirements followed.
13.1.1 Work permit receiver shall conduct site inspection before closing the permit.
