Industry Analysis According to International Agriculture Research Council the global market of honey valued at almost 8 billion dollar. And the global export grown 35% in last decade. And in Pakistan, Approximately 10,000 beekeepers presently oversee nearly 1.1 million bee colonies in Pakistan. Every year, the nation produces about 15,750 tons of honey. In terms of both honey exports and production, Pakistan is placed 34th and 20th, respectively. Although beekeeping is mostly practiced in the KPK , central, and northern Punjab regions of Pakistan, it is currently quickly growing because to the rising demand for honey and other byproducts on a local and global scale.
