According to International Agriculture Research Council the global market of honey
valued at almost 8 billion dollar. And the global export grown 35% in last decade.
And in Pakistan, Approximately 10,000 beekeepers presently oversee nearly 1.1
million bee colonies in Pakistan. Every year, the nation produces about 15,750 tons
of honey.
In terms of both honey exports and production, Pakistan is placed 34th and 20th,
respectively.
Although beekeeping is mostly practiced in the KPK , central, and northern Punjab
regions of Pakistan, it is currently quickly growing because to the rising demand for
honey and other byproducts on a local and global scale. The average honey is per capita in global required 150 gram but in Pakistan the average income per ca-pita is 50
gram due to lack of knowledge and low of income or lack of awareness of its health
benefits.
Varieties
According to National Agriculture Research Council NARC, there are 2 major varieties
of honey. Acacia and the Sidr. We almost 80 to 90 percent of the total production of
sidr type of honey export to gulf country , UK , Us and Germany. And the total
production of honey sidr almost 40 percent and Acacia is almost 53 percent of total
production of honey in Pakistan.

owners and medical professionals, the owner will advocate for honey as a healthy
product.to retrieve the vials, an exchange procedure will be formed. This transaction
will create a bond between the client and the business owner and present an
opportunity for a subsequent sale.
