HEAR JESUS: The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. John 6:63 Conversely For
whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the
Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. Mark 8:38
REPENT: Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17, Conversely I tell you; but unless
you repent, you will all likewise perish. Luke 13:5.
KNOW ME - I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, John 10:14, And this is
eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. John 17:3.
Conversely then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'
Matthew 7:23
KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS - If you love me, you will keep my commandments. John 14:15 and If you
keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments
and abide in his love. John 15:10. Conversely You leave the commandment of God and hold to the
tradition of men. Mark 7:8. John the Baptist says whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but
the wrath of God remains on him. John 3:36.
I AM THE WAY: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. Conversely No one comes to the Father
except through me. John 14:6-7
BUY FROM ME GOLD: I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and
white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen,
and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Rev 3:18 Conversely I know your works: you are
neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and
neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I
need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. Rev 3:15-17 While these
passages are to the church in Laodicea, many feel this fits today’s church.
LOSE YOUR LIFE FOR MY SAKE: whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it
conversely whoever would save his life will lose it Mark 8:35 See also Matthew 10:39, Matthew 16:25, Luke 9:24,
Luke 9:25, Luke 17:33, John 12:25
BEAR GOOD FRUIT: Every healthy tree bears good fruit. Conversely Every tree that does not bear
good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. Matthew
7:17,19
ACKNOWLEDGE ME: everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my
Father who is in heaven, Conversely but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my
Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33
TAKE CARE OF OTHERS: Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for
you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you
gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick
and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Matthew 25:34,35 Conversely Depart from me,
you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave
me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me,
naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.' Then they also will
answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in
prison, and did not minister to you?' Then he will answer them, saying, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did
not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.' And these will go away into eternal
punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. Matthew 25:41-46

you, but conversely if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your
trespasses. Matthew 6:14,15
SERVE GOD ONLY: No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the
other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God
and conversely money. Luke 16:13 and Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral
and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. Rev 22:14.
HATES HIS LIFE IN THIS WORLD: whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal
life conversely Whoever loves his life loses it. John 12:25
WITHSTAND PERSECUTION Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs
is the kingdom of heaven Matthew 5:10: Conversely As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the
one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but
endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately
he falls away. Matthew 13:20-21
KNOW THE TRUTH: If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth,
and the truth will set you free. John 8:31,32. and Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may
have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Conversely Outside are …
everyone who loves and practices falsehood. Rev 22:14,15
OUR WORDS JUSTIFY US: I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every
careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and conversely by your words you
will be condemned. Matthew 12:35-37 and what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this
defiles a person. Matthew 15:18 and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be liable to the hell of fire Matt 5:22
BE BORN OF THE SPIRIT: that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Conversely Truly, truly, I say to

born of the flesh is flesh John 3:5-6
BE HIS FAITHFUL SERVANT: Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents
more.' His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant’. Conversely cast the worthless

25:20, 30
ABIDE IN JESUS: Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me
you can do nothing. Conversely If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and
withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. John 15:5,6
BE PURE IN HEART: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8 and Blessed are
those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the
gates into the city. Conversely Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually
immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. Rev 22:14-15 NIV
DENY SELF: If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow
me. Matthew 16:24. Conversely Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it Lu 17:33.

kingdom of heaven. Conversely Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will
never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3-6

doctrines the commandments of men.' Mark 7:6-7

restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.
Mat 5:13
CONQUER: To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one
who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. Conversely for the
cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters,
and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.
Rev 21:6-8
FOLLOW ME - If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and
follow me. Luke 9:23. Conversely And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of
me. Matthew 10:38.
LOVE ME - Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who
loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him. John 14:21.
Conversely Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son
or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:37
KEEP JESUS’ WORD - If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we
will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:23. Conversely Whoever does not love me does
not keep my words. John 14:24 Amazingly The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a
judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. John 12:48
RENDER TO GOD: Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are

Smyrna Conversely Where is your faith? Luke 8:25 To His Disciples.
Revelation 2:10 to the Church in
FEED ON JESUS: Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise
him up on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever feeds on my
flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because
of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. This is the bread that came
down from heaven, not as the fathers ate and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live
forever. Conversely Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his
blood, you have no life in you. John 6:53-59
DO HIS WILL: the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven … will enter the kingdom of
heaven … but conversely Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of
heaven, Matt 7:21
SANCTIFY IN THE TRUTH: Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the
world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may
be sanctified in truth. John 17:16-19 Praying for His Disciples, and so presumably His followers Conversely Every
plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up. Let them alone; they are blind
guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit. Matt 15:13-15
EAT MY FLESH AND DRINK MY BLOOD: Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant,
which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:27-29; Whoever has the Son has
life; Conversely whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:12 Truly, truly, I

TURN FROM SIN: See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you. John 4:15
Conversely Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It
would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than
that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. Luke 17:1-2 .
LOVE GOD WITH ALL: you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as
yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30,31 conversely Anyone who
does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8 and If you would enter life, keep the
commandments. Matthew 19:17
BE LIGHT: You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. In the same way, let
your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father
who is in heaven. Mat 5:14,16; But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be
clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God. John 3:21 Conversely For everyone who does
wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. John
3:20
BELIEVE - Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and
greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12 And these signs will
accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them;
they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover. Mark 16:17-18. All things are possible for
one who believes. Mark 9:23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and
thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to
pass, it will be done for him. Mark 11:23 Conversely you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do
not believe the one whom he has sent. John 5:38 The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and
life. But there are some of you who do not believe. John 6:63-64 I told you that you would die in your
sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins. John 8:24 “I believe; help my
unbelief!” Mark 9:24 Note Jesus’ consistent and demanding definition of believe.
BELIEVE AND BE BAPTIZED: Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, conversely but whoever
does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16-17
I WILL FOLLOW YOU, LORD: Yet another said, I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to
those at my home. Jesus said to him, Conversely No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks
back is fit for the kingdom of God. Luke 9:61-62
BE ONE FLESH: Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and
they shall become one flesh'? So they are no longer two but one flesh. Conversely What therefore
God has joined together, let not man separate. Matt 19:5-7

Jesus asks us to be salt – to share Him with others with the talents and time He has given during our time on this glorious
planet that God has given us to be on. While we are here, let’s be salt for Jesus.
We are also to be a light for Jesus. To be a role model for Him. To do good works to bring glory to your Father who is
in heaven. Let’s just do it – but with Him in control.
BELIEVE: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but conversely whoever does not believe is
condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. John 3:18.
ALL AUTHORITY All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Matthew 28:18-20 conversely
Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, Luke 17:33
TELL THE TRUTH: Whoever is of God hears the words of God. John 8:47 Conversely because I tell the
truth, you do not believe me. If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? The reason why you do
not hear them is that you are not of God. John 8:45-47
ENDURE TO THE END: you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the
end will be saved. When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next Matthew 10:22. Conversely
many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise
and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.
But the one who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 24:10-13
NARROW GATE 1: Enter by the narrow gate. Conversely For the gate is wide and the way is easy that
leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. Matthew 7:13
NARROW GATE 2: For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, Conversely those who
find it are few. Matthew 7:14
NARROW DOOR: Strive to enter through the narrow door. Conversely For many, I tell you, will seek to
enter and will not be able. Luke 13:24
