TITLE OF LESSON: Input skill- listening and
content based activity
Learning input – by the end of this lesson, pupils
should be able to:

 Identify the rules for the 1-2 syllables and 3 or
more syllables comparative adjectives.
 They will listen to a video where they can
identify the spelling rules.
 The students will identify the difference
between comparative and superlative adjectives.
 The learners will repeat correctly the new
vocabulary.
Lesson Procedure:
After being told some rules, the students will watch a video (https://www.khanacademy.org)
about grammar and they will take notes about them.
Then, the teacher in explains the spelling rules. After that, the teacher will ask the students to
make up an example using the adjective “cute”, the first example of the video.
Then, the teacher explains the comparative and superlative with a PowerPoint presentation

Then, the teacher turns in the worksheet about comparative and superlative exercises.
The teacher will say:
Now you are going to work in groups and you have to read the headline of each
exercise and then do it, having in mind the rules explained before.
Then, after doing the exercise, the students have to compare their answers with their
partners.”
Finally, the students will make groups of five people to use (kahoot).
They instructor will explain how to use and he will give the PIN to start the game.
