Step2: Go to Career Navigator
Step3: Take Abilities Quiz – the first one!
Step 4: At the end of the quiz indicate how much school you are willing to take and
click get results.
Step 5: Look at the right for Occupations Matching My Results
(PRINT OUT THE RESULTS – THIS WILL BE THE FIRST THING THAT WILL BE INCLUDED IN YOUR
SUMMATIVE – If your list is too long print only the first 4 pages)
Step 6: Write down your favourite 5 options from the whole list.
Step 7: Look over the educational requirements and the earnings. (You will get some
information by just clicking the number beside the occupation in the quiz results)
Step 8: After considering the educational requirements and the earnings, choose your
top 3 career options. Create a table with the three options, their educational
requirements and their hourly wage, job openings in Canada, and their yearly earnings.
(Imagine you work 40 hours a week for 52 weeks a year.)

Step 9: Look on the internet, in a newspaper, ect. to find openings in your three top
choices of careers in Canada – preferably Ontario. If you can find no openings, you
will need to consider a different career so go back to step 5.
