Little Shell 1. With this song, I can create a puppet show. I can make all of them for my classroom. We tell the story every day for around two weeks, so children can learn it by heart, recreate it and live it. We would split the kids into groups, and they could create a puppet show for the song and play it in front of their peers. 2. This is great for dramatic play, which encourages students to find connections to themselves, act on their feelings, and learn creativity. One activity is “write the room.” The room is where the teacher sticks pictures around the room, and students have to look for them. So students will look for shells and seas. Around the song, we can play musical charades, play a prop-passing game, form a follow-the-leader Conga line, play musical Hot Potato, and do a musical drawing.
