you will have to work with colleagues and
supervisors. Good communication skills will
allow you to problem solve with teammates and
share ideas.
Organization
Having good organization skills will allow you to
be more efficient and productive in the
workplace as you will have to keep track of
projects and tasks. This is the first step to being
able to multitask effectively.

to problems quickly and frequently. Having this
skill may also allow you to prevent issues from
arising with code, servers, etc. Quickly
diagnosing issues is an example of analytical

In the IT field it is common you will be managing

have deadlines and different budgets. Being able
to properly plan and set goals will be a key skill in

Being resourceful is an exceptional skill, in IT there
are many things which you may strive and struggle
with and others around you may have strengths
that will be useful in completing tasks and projects.
Being a good communicator will help in being

need to work as a team. Helping others who may
not know as much as you in a certain areas will
add to being resourceful and is a part of how a
professional space functions to ensure projects

Curiosity in the IT industry plays a big role
in innovation and will help you learn and
progress your career as an IT professional.
Being curious will also help with creativity
and problem solving This skill is a large
part of cybersecurity
