Self-introduction
For those of you just tunning into my podcast for the first time, I’m an
ESL teacher living and working in Korea. I have been here since 1994
where I first started teaching at the LG training Center in Icheon. I’m
now teaching at Inha University and have been here since 1997.
Name of podcast
series
Purpose of podcast
series
Well, the name of my series is “Tales of An American in Korea.”
Review of past
episode
In my last episode, I talked about my dog Noma and the night she
passed away. If you are interested, you might want to check out that
episode. Get some tissue ready, you might need it.
Today, I am going to tell a tale of a nice experience, I had recently.
Well, at least to me. This episode is being recorded September of 2021
and still we are in the times of covid, so I try to look at the bright side or
funny side of things. Since travel is restricted, being stuck at home gets
mundane. I began a quest for new and different restaurants. I discovered
several last month. Here is my tale, which I call, “Good Food Adventure
21!” If you have been listening to me for some time, you will remember
I am obsessed with food. Check out one or two previous episodes on
“Good bread, where are you?” “They have X at the black market.” And
“Itaewon taco time!” just to name a few. So, are you ready for this
week’s good food adventure? Let’s go!
Title of this episode
with preview and
purpose
Hi everyone and welcome back! My name’s Charles Brochetti.
I guess you can tell form the title what this series is about, right? You
guessed it. It is about my experiences living here in Korea, some of the
experiences I have had with friends and colleagues and so much more. I
try to give a comical take on some really bad experiences and what I
learned from them. Not all the tales are good ones, some are bad.

So, what did you think of this week’s episode? Was it an adventure?
Crazy huh?
It was great sharing another of my experiences living here in Korea. As
I said some of the experiences I have had with friends and colleagues
and so much more. I try to give a comical take on some really bad
experiences and what I learned from them. Not all the tales are good
ones, some are bad. This one fortunately was a good one.
