Name: Paglinawan, Jinky F. Course/year/Section: BSEE-2B Subject: Arts Appreciation Activity 1 Answer each question in 3-5 sentences only. 1. How would you describe yourself through art? I do love taking and editing photos due to the fact that it is my way of expressing myself in art. When I take an angle of myself, I make sure to capture every single detail of me, especially my outfits and facial expressions. In particular, my outfits define my gender identity, and at the same time, people can easily read my aura and attitude through my facial expressions since I am kind of showy. Moreover, I also base my editing theme on my mood. For example, if I'm in a good mood, I'll use vibrant filters, and when I'm not in a good mood, I'll use monochrome. 2. If you were an artist, what kind of artist would you be? As I've mentioned above, I do love taking and editing photos, so if I were an artist, I'd wish to be a photographer and photo editor. It may not be my dream job in life, but I am happy doing such things. Actually, I was a photojournalist way back in my senior high school life, which is why I had a background in photography and editing. Whenever someone compliments me on my shots, my satisfaction becomes unmeasurable and overflowing. Furthermore, there’s this kind of feeling that I never get tired when it comes to taking and editing photos. 3. Why is art ageless and timeless? In my opinion, the fact that art has always existed and will continue to do so in future generations makes it timeless and ageless. Indeed, for the reason that art is a fruit of the human imagination based on experience, we cannot prohibit anyone from creating it. That is why it will always exist as long as people live on this planet, and it will never change since it is a constant in people's lives. Thus, art has become one of the most crucial things in our daily lives regardless of time and age.
