Create Your Own Constellation
Create a constellation:
1. Draw your constellation. Must be 6 stars or more, you can use current stars as your map or
create your own. Drawing should be a design and connect the stars to make a picture (school
appropriate)
2. Name your constellation
Create a story to describe the constellation you created.
3. Describe where your constellation is located? What time of year can it be seen in the night
sky?
4. How many stars make up your constellation? What are the star types and magnitude in your
constellation? Red, Blue, White, etc
How close are the stars that make up your constellation?
5. What is the story behind your constellation?
6. Who discovered your constellation and how?
