Concept Testing Knowing the feedback of your target audience regarding to your product idea is a big help to improve your approach before introducing the actual product to the market. Testing methods can be online, for instance, via survey, either paper or online survey, to gather feedbacks from the target market (specific target market?). For example, list of questions such as, “do customers like the concept we have developed, if they would find such a product useful and valuable, what sort of price they would be willing to pay, what kind of features they are looking for when it comes it smart glasses” We can also communicate our concept through video with verbal descriptions to widen their understanding about our product. Then, after fully understanding our idea, is to measure their response like we can ask our target audience through a five scale if they will definitely buy, will probably buy, might or might not buy, probably not buy, and definitely not buy. Doing this will help the business to find out how many potential customers there are, to understand whether or not the product will be a hit to the customers, whether they have the intent of buying it. Surveys will help us to learn what features customers really need for our product, what features they like, and which may need changing. In short, this will enable us to find out what potential customers care about in order to determine which attributes should be incorporated into the final design, ahead of the official product launch. Business Analysis Smart glasses are glasses with built-in technology. It is more than just a glass that protects the eyes, as, these can also be an accessory that will make the day easier. These smart glasses can be a second screen to your phone, but, with a better change as these layer information onto a user’s field of view. Imagine having an eyeglass that can be paired to your device, allowing you to access information on the internet, display the notifications, messages, and calls, show the time and date, audio support, as well as having a camera for capturing and viewing photos and videos right directly in front of your eyes. The price of smart glasses varies a lot and depends with the functionality they have. Of course, smart glasses that have all these features will cost a little bit expensive (specific/estimate price?) since the hardware and software parts require high cost to complete this. However, if the smart glasses don’t have much visual effect and only supported by an audio, it will surely cause cheaper than the first one. With its function, this can be beneficial. Given that smart glasses are portable, you can easily carry it and take them with you anywhere anytime. For instance, visualize that you are going out to for a walk, running some errands or during work, you don’t need to take out your phone from your pocket just to read notifications, capture photo, check the time or other information, it’s much easier to just use or glance at your glasses. In addition, instead of focusing on to the phone or laptop’s screen, students can also read modules and view education videos with a greater ease even when they suddenly need to go to the bathroom. As of now, the return on investment for this may be low because it is still in the beginning stage or something new and unfamiliar to the market, but, this may increase as technology keeps on progressing and it’s probably only a matter of time until smart glasses will be a normal part of our everyday lives.
