Health Infectious Disease Pamphlet:
Objective:
 Create an Infectious Disease informative pamphlet with pertinent information
described in the project rubric.
 Discern keys factors regarding infectious diseases, their treatments, symptoms,
and historical facts regarding the specific infectious disease you chose.
Details and Requirements:
 Read Chapter 6.1-6.2 pages141-153
 Utilize the Sample Pamphlets for examples.
 Determine an infectious disease you are interested in.
 NO STDs-(that is another chapter)
 No two students may have the same disease. Go to Google Classroom and
declare the disease you wish to research and wait for approval from Mrs. Ingram
by commenting on class feed.
 Go to https://www.canva.com/login
o Log in with YOUR AOA email. DO NOT USE OTHER PERSONAL EMAILS.
o Choose a free template and begin to build your informational pamphlet.
o Use only free designs and add ons
o Follow the instructions on the rubric
o Each side of the pamphlet has very specific information.
 Create 5 questions regarding your diseases.
o Questions CAN NOT be one word answers (no credit for one word answer
questions)
 Questions should be on a separate document and shared via email.
 Final project should be saved on your Drive and printed out for review and
grading. DOES NOT need to be printed in color.
 Daily grades will be given for “work in progress”.
 Check for due dates for daily work and final project.
