Before Reading the Manual :
This manual contains general characteristics of the electro-hydraulic operating table CHS-1500:
introduction, specification, installation, operating methods, cleaning and maintenance. Before
installation, it is strongly recommended to fully read all the instructions.

WARNING
A WARNING statement is used when the possibility of injury to the patient or
the operator exists.
CAUTION
A CAUTION statement is used when the possibility of damage to
the equipment exists.

A NOTE provides additional information to clarify a point in the text.

PROLOGUE
OPERATING TABLE 1500
Thank you very much for selecting manufactured goods of Choongwae.
To correctly operate the equipment and to keep it in normal function for a long time, it is very important
to be well familiarized with the functions of equipment components as well as the operating and
maintaining procedures of the equipment.
So it is requested to carefully read this instruction manual before putting the equipment in service.
Although this equipment is designed and manufactured with major consideration for safety of the
operator and patient, as well as the reliability of the equipment, strictly observe the following for further
assurance of the safety.
CAUTION FOR SAFETY
(1) The equipment must be operated by a qualified personnel or one who has taken a specific course of
training
(2) Never try to remodel the equipment.
(3) Because Equipment is fully set and assembled, don't touch a fixed part.
(4) Keep the assemble and disassemble procedures described in this manual. if not, patient or operator
can be received an electric shock or it can give damage to a controller.
(5) Any abnormality occur, immediately disconnect the power to the equipment and contact and consult
an nearby Choongwae Service center or local representative office.
(6) If any problems are found, checkup the reason according to the methods described in the manual. In
case there is not the method, don't repair it without reason and contact an nearby Choongwae Service
center or local representative office.
(7) Equipment should not be installed in the place as follows.
- The place environment temperature is over +40℃ or under 0℃.
- The place the atmospheric pressure is over 1060hPa or under 700hPa.
- The place exposed to noxious gas.
- The place in excessive high temperature.
- The place exposed to steam.
- The place in water drop.
- The place in much dust and sand.
- The place exposed to excessive oil-contained steam
- The place exposed to salinity-contained air.
- The place exposed to explosive gas.

- The place in excessive vibration or impact.
- The place in the slope over 0.3。(5/1,000mm).
- The place the power source and voltage are extraordinarily fluctuated.
- The place the power source and voltage are excessively dropped
- The place exposed to direct ray of sunlight included reflection light and
should not be installed at a place where the risk of a fire or an explosion
exists.
- The place should not be installed at a place where difficult air circulation.
- The place in high humidity.
(8) If operator clean or rinse manufactured goods, always turn off the power
and give attention to get into the water.
(9) Equipment should not be inflict excess impact or force.
(10) Certainly contact Choongwae Medical company, when equipment is electrically
mechanically connected with the other company' machine.(The equipment
which is connected or remodeled without reason can not be given an
assurance. caution)
(11) A patient or operator should not be inflict excess impact or force in the
corner of Leg Section, etc.
(12) During an examination or drive, an operator should not be move an equipment.
(13) When operator clean down Hand Switch because of an alien matter or dirt,
it should not be clean with water. Please, clean with dry a piece of cloth
or a piece of cloth with alcohol.
(14) If operator go down Back Section or Table after going down Back Section,
it will touch with lower Base.
(15) If operator go down Back Section after Trendelennburg, it will touch with
lower Base.
(16) If the equipment touched with lower Base as like condition of (14), (15),
please don't tilt the equipment with the direction of left or right. For using
safe and sure manufactured goods, give attention to drive.
(17) For using safe and sure manufactured goods, please certainly check to coincide
with manufactured goods and source voltage before turn on the power.

1. OUTLINE
1. OUTLINE.
This device is composed of electro-hydraulic system and multi-function system so that can provide
complete operations,. This manual contains information on equipment operations and
maintenance intended to help purchasers of the operation table (CHS-1500) understand the
products better.
2. FEATURES.
2.1 It was designed by the electro-hydraulic system that provide more accurate and
speedy position.
2.2 It was designed for a low ground voltage and Ampere that os less than 100 micro
Ampere.
2.3 At the remote control, it is considered the human factor in order to operate easier.
2.4 A person who lie down on the table will feel comfortable because this table os
controlled by the oil pump for up and down positions.
2.5 It os adjustable for height from 690 to 1000 mm
2.6 To prevent human errors, it is equipped interlock switch, It is supposed to press
position switches and interlock switch.
2.7 To prevent overheated, it will restrict voltage automatically

6. INSTALLATIONS INSTRUCTION AND OPERATION
6.1 Installations
6.1.1 Place the examining table in required position :
After unpacking the case, place the examining table on the ground and press the fixing
panel by
foot to the active position. Thus the table can be moved easily to the setting place, press the fixing
panel again to the fixed position Adjust the base to its horizontal and stable position
6.1.2 Connect the ground cable to the ground pin on the bed.
6.1.3 Put the electric plug of hand control box into the corresponding outlet on the base,
6.1.4 Put power plug into power outlet on the base.
6.1.5 If ever step above is OK, the indicator on the hand control panel will be lit.
6.1.6 Just adjust appropriate positions by the interlock switch,
6.1.7 Accessory Crutch :
① Knee Crutch :
This is a device that patient's legs can be reached in good condition. There ate two
controllers
that adjust right weight and moving direction under the knee crutch.
At the installation, just stick the knee crutch in the fixations socker (stick to the
bar).
Then, insert the whole assembled unit in the side rail and tighten them by handle
under the knee crutch.
② Arm Rest
It hold two arms completely and can be rotate 180 degree. Make a Wide the arm
rest holder
as much as possible and insert them into the side rail.
③ Chest & Waist Supporters
This is a device to prevent patients to fall down from the table.
Insert fixations sockets if the side rail, plug waist supporters and tighten them up.
④ Shoulder Supporters.
This device support patient's shoulders when the slope of table is up and down.
Insert fixations sockets if the side rail, plug waist supporters and tighten them up.

⑤ Screen Frame
It is purposed that patients force not to look at the operation., Insert fixations sockets
in the
middle of side rail, plug waist supporters and tighten them up.
⑥ Drain Tray
It is designed to get all the drain from patients. Just hang the drain tray at the
hanger.
⑦ Head Switch
It is connected to the connector at a base and can operate appropriate positions.
⑧ X-ray Film Cassette Holder Plate
It is placed under the each board so that it is easy to take an x-ray without taking
patients to
X-ray room.
⑨ Hand Rest
It is required to insert head rest while you are in the neurological surgery.
⑩ Kidney Elevator
Insert the kidney Elevator into the side rail and rotate the tightening handle for
counterclockwise. For the height adjustment, rotate handle right hand - side for the
direction, Otherwise, inverse direction.

6.2 Regulation
6.2.1 Oil Pressure Control :
Speed control depends on the oil block in the vase cover, There are valves can
restrict the
amount of oil and the direction.
6.2.2 Electric Control :
This is a device can control the oil pump and solenoid in oil block. This device is
located in
side of base cover. If there is no response, then look at "Maintenance and repair" Otherwise, please
contact Choongwae Medical Ltd.
6.2.3 Head Board :
When you pull down the handle under the head board, it will incline from 15 degrees
degrees
6.2.4 Leg board up & down, left & right :
① Leg board up & down
to 90
When you desire to down, pull down the bending bar as much as you want.
Otherwise, just move up the bar.
② Leg board left & right :
Release the tightening label to move left or right hand - side as much as you desire.

Press Power-ON S/W and Trendelenburg Position S/W button simultaneously.
Elevation
Press Power-ON S/W and Base Up, Down S/W button simultaneously.
Lateral-Tilt Position
Press Power-ON S/W and Lateral-Tilt Position S/W button simultaneously.
Back-Break
Press Power-ON S/W and Back-Break S/W button simultaneously.

8. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR(TROUBLESHOOTING)
8.1 Maintenance
8.1.1 When it is not on operations, remember power off and remove the electric plug from
power outlet and keep hand switch connector away from the water.
8.1.2 After you did the operations, put the position back to the origin and lowest level.
8.1.3 For the movement, release the break pedal at first . Do not make any force at the
base portion.
8.1.4 Clean the table whenever used.
1) Wipe off the stainless part every other week.
2) Clean the sheet by soap water and keep it dry.
3) Keep away from sun and heater.
4) Keep away from oil.
8.1.5 Do not get wet any part of the table.
