DAMAGE IN TRANSPORTATION
All packages should be closely examined at time of delivery. If damage is apparent write “Damage In
Shipment” on ALL copies of the freight or express bill BEFORE delivery is accepted or “signed for” by
a GE representative or hospital receiving agent. Whether noted or concealed, damage MUST be
reported to the carrier immediately upon discovery, or in any event, within 14 days after receipt, and the
contents and containers held for inspection by the carrier. A transportation company will not pay a claim
for damage if an inspection is not requested within this 14 day period.
CERTIFIED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR STATEMENT - FOR USA ONLY
All electrical Installations that are preliminary to positioning of the equipment at the site prepared for the
equipment shall be performed by licensed electrical contractors. Other connections between pieces of
electrical equipment, calibrations and testing shall be performed by qualified GE personnel. In
performing all electrical work on these products, GE will use its own specially trained field engineers. All
of GE’s electrical work on these products will comply with the requirements of the applicable electrical
codes.
The purchaser of GE equipment shall only utilize qualified personnel (i.e., GE’s field engineers,
personnel of third-party service companies with equivalent training, or licensed electricians) to perform
electrical servicing on the equipment.

1.) Power on the system to the scanning screen.
2.) Insert Peripheral Driver Patch USB to the system.
3.) Lightly press the Power On/Off switch once. The System-Exit window is displayed.
4.) Select Full Maintenance Reboot/Full Maintenance Shutdown/Shutdown.
If you select Full Maintenance Shutdown, power on again after the system shuts down.
NOTE:
If there is Full Maintenance Reboot /Full Maintenance Shutdown selection, please select
Full Maintenance Reboot/Full Maintenance Shutdown, do not select Shutdown, otherwise
the system cannot detect the Driver Patch USB after reboot.
NOTE:
Do not remove the Driver Patch USB until the driver installation is complete and the system is
totally powered off.
NOTE:
Do not connect any other peripherals to the system until the driver installation is complete and
the system is totally powered on again.
5.) System starts automatically, Click Install SW....

14.)After the system shuts down, disconnect the Driver Patch USB from the system.
NOTE:
If you do not remove the Patch USB, the driver patch installation repeats when the system boots
up.
15.)Connect the peripherals to the system.
When connect these peripherals to the system for the first time, it may take some time for system to
prepare.
If the system cannot find these peripherals, please restart the system.
For some systems, after installing the Driver for printers, connect the printer to the system for printing
and the message below may appear:

1.) Install TE100-PCBUSR Net Card driver. Select TRENDNet Card in DriveList as shown in Figure 24 on page 1-9 to install. For installation steps, please refer to the information from page 1-8 to page
2-14.
2.) Power on the system to enter into the scan screen again, insert the Net Card into the system, and
disconnect all the other peripherals such as USB Memory. Do not touch the keyboard including the
trackball until Figure 2-24 on page 21 is displayed.
3.) Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), and then click Next>.
