Views on Pressure Injury Prevention 1. Pressure injury prevention is time consuming for me to carry out 2. I do not need to concern myself with pressure injury prevention in my practice 3. Continuous assessment of patients will give an accurate account of their pressure ulcer risk 4. Most pressure ulcers can be avoided 5. I am less interested in pressure injury prevention than other aspects of care 6. In comparison with other areas of care, pressure injury prevention is a low priority for me 7. Pressure ulcer risk assessment should be regularly carried out on all patients during their stay in hospital 8. Too much attention goes into prevention of pressure injury than other issues. 9. I understand pressure injury is a priority, but I am too busy to check client skin too many times 10. Pressure injury can’t be reduced in this unit anyways because the clients are too sick 11. I feel like I fail my client if they develop pressure injury under my care 12.
