I. Rationale: The Division Project Math FACTORS is an intervention program created to evaluate the learners' mathematical proficiency and offer interventions to improve their numeracy skills. Furthermore, it will help develop the Math competency and improve the mathematical proficiency of Grades 1 to 10 learners. This Division Project Math Factors was implemented at the beginning of the school year 20222023. Division Numeracy Assessment Test (D’NUMAT) was administered to assess learners’ numeracy skills to different schools. In relation to this, Lunzuran Elementary School teachers administered D’NUMAT- Pre-Test to the 1126 learners from grades 1 to 6. The result shown that 649 out of 1126 or 58% are Not Proficient, 249 or 22% are Low Proficient, 162 or 14% are Nearly Proficient, 69 or 6% are Proficient and 1 or 0.08% is Highly Proficient. In reference to the result of the D’NUMAT Pre-Test, The Lunzuran Elementary School developed an intervention program entitled LuzProject MATH FACTORS to enhance learners progress through Math remedial strategies, develop numeracy skills and promote positive attitude in learners’ learnings and experiences. This school-based intervention program will be conducted to determine if learners mastered the competencies and met the expectations in the subject.
