Column Design
Design of columns for the seven type of unit in the SGSU is included in this report.
Sizes and design details of the columns are to be referred to the respective drawings
submitted under this submission. However, the typical size of the most of the column are
200mmx 800mm.
The grade of concrete used for the column is C32/40. The ETabs application was
used for the analysis and design of the columns and the design data that includes design
summary and section design details are attached in the following section.
Beam Design
Like columns, the design of beams for the seven type of unit in the SGSU are also
included in this report. The beams are designed in accordance with the SS- EN 1992:
Eurocode2.
The grade of concrete used for the beams are C28/35 for all the units. The ETabs
was employed for the analysis and design of RC beams. The detailed design of the RC
beams data are included in the following section.
