This project is assigned by Ma’am Kaenat Malik for the course of Social Advocacy in this
we have done a CSR activity in which we have collaborated with Robin Hood Pakistan
whose mission is to finish the hunger from the world. Moreover we also have organized the
online session related to Social Entrepreneurship in which our main focus was on the Women
Empowerment in which we have told them that they can earn online from home. There are

Hunger is more than just a meal
The Problem:
 Hunger kills more people each year than AIDS, malaria and terrorism
combined
 Every 10 seconds, a child dies from hunger
 82% of hungry people live in countries with food surpluses, not food
shortages
 One in every eight people sleeps hungry each night
 One-third of the food produced around the world is never consumed
 850 million hungry people in the world.
Collaboration:
So we got the idea of playing our part in filling this hunger gap in Pakistan. So we
did the collaboration with the Robin Hood Pakistan for this purpose as they already
been into this for more than 5+ years.
Who are Robin Hood Army:
The Robin Hood Army is a volunteer based, zero-funds organization that works to
get surplus food from restaurants and the community to serve less fortunate people.

So as we did a collaboration with The Robin Hood Pakistan Army and had a
wonderful experience, we went to the Mauripur which is really a backward area
near hawksbey. And there we distributed the food to almost every house and some
juices and biscuits to the children there.
Women Empowerment
Project:
In our project of Social Advocacy we had to do some social entrepreneurship, and
had to make some people financially stable. So for that we know that in our
society, there are many problems or issues and from that one of them is the lack of
female labor force or their participation in the economy of our country.
In Pakistan the women’s literacy rate is 47%, while the only 25% of women’s of
women earn but this 25% also includes the women’s who belong to that 53%
illiterate women’s and work in some factory as a maid or clerk.
We have decide to play our part to overcome this gap, so we will be arranging a
zoom session for females who cannot work in offices, organizations etc. or can’t
leave their house for any reason. So that they can earn from their home so we are
going to do this as our social advocacy project.
So by doing this training session we will train those in a way that how they can
earn from their homes by doing small works which can be done with zero
investment and the only thing one will have to invest will be the time investment.
Our group members will try to teach every one of them to be independent and
capable of earning without even leaving there house.
The Problem:
 The literacy rate of women in Pakistan are only 47%.
 From which only 25% of Women are playing their part in the economic
activity of a country. From which mostly are the maids or work in a
company in the lowest level and are illiterate.
 Pakistan has one of the lowest female labor force participation rates in South
Asia.
 The emerging reasons behind this low rate are a lack of access to safe
transport, social norms, and household responsibilities.
Collaboration:
So to tackle this gap from our society, we have coordinated with the Lemmen’s
home which is situated in Dar ul Sakun, where mostly the socially displaced
women’s live.
Purpose:
Our purpose to have the collaboration with them, is to make those women
financially stable by teaching them that how they can earn from home and how
they can become financially stable. And to find the needy individual women’s was
so hard in compare to collaborating with the hostel.
How we made them Financially Stable?
We have given them a platform from where they don’t have to leave there home,
or place and to travel somewhere but can work from home. They can earn just by
publishing there content which can be anything like food recipe, your daily life, or
taking part in any contest related to writing or photography. And can earn in
Cryptocurrencies.
What is Steemit?
STEEMIT is a Decentralized Social media where there is no authority, and is
working on the blockchain-based blogging and social media website. Users can
gain a cryptocurrency, STEEM, for publishing content.
Steps:
 So firstly we told them about the referrals as many people think we will earn
something if we will tell them to start on this platfrom. But we don’t earn
penny, the only thing we earn is some good deeds.
 And then what is Steemit. How they can sign up in that platform and how to
save their password as the password of this is different from any normal
password.
 Then I told them how they can earn from and show them the starting steps.
 Then for some motivation we showed them my profile and my wallet. As the
question which arises after telling someone about these kind of platforms is
“how much have you earned from that” so my wallet answered that question
