Constructive Feedback

What is constructive feedback?
In my opinion, Constructive feedback is a collaborative suggestion that helps the receiver to improve
themselves and make the improving changes that will help people to advance in their careers. One
should wisely choose notes before giving such feedback to make sure he is addressing issues
thoroughly. It’s not made out of spite or cruelty either.
How has constructive feedback supported your development?
In many cases where we cannot see our weaknesses or the opportunities to improve ourselves, I
have used constructive feedback from peers to improve myself. Sometimes constructive feedback
acts like a piece of advice coming from an experienced individual who has done what we’re about to
do before. So far, I have openly admitted the constructive feedback I received in my career and I see
it as an asset in my progress.
What are some tips and strategies for giving constructive feedback?

It must be made based on facts and not derived from personal issues

Sometimes it requires some “out-of-the-box” thinking to make feedback

The receiver should have the chance to comment on the feedback received

Sometimes it’s better to be made privately so that the receiver does not get embarrassed in
a crowd of people.
