Due to the controversy over Florida’s 25 electoral votes during the run
between Republican George W. Bush and Democrat Albert “Al” Gore,
caused by the use of paper votes that resulted in a high yield of
over-votes and under-votes. With problems that occur when using paper
votes and prevent controversy at the company, the board of director has
asked to design a electronic voting machine. This machine should be
designed in a way that allows for four memebers of the board to cast
ballots that will pass or fail the decisions.
Create a circuit that will allow a voting machine to let four members a
president, a vice-president, a secretary, and a treasurer cast their
votes/ballots and then display a pass/fail status on each of their
votes/ballots. This machine should also give the president vote the
ultimate ruling over the result when ties occur (ie. tie will be decided by
the presidents decision)
