Orata / We are very pleased to have you all this morning, / acknowledging of / course everyone’s presence here in the university and those who are with / us virtually via Facebook live streaming. / We truly are grateful that you were able to grace this significant event. / / We share with you our joy as our beloved Urdaneta City University / embarks on its 56th founding anniversary this year . This would not have / / been possible without the magnificent and selfless efforts and pursuit of / / Dr. Pedro Orata in bringing and making education accessible to the people of this community. Later this program, / we shall pay our tribute/ and high respect to him/ in commemoration for his service and great contributions. Invocation To formally begin, / / may I invite everyone to rise/ for the entrance of the National Anthem Urdaneta City University Hymn / Philippine Flag/ the entrance of University Colors which shall be followed / by the invocation the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, Urdaneta City Hymn, Message / and Urdaneta City University Hymn. / / At this juncture may we call on our City Mayor and at the same time the Chairman of the Board of Regents, / Honorable Mayor Julio F. Unveiling Ladies and Gentlemen, / / the time has finally arrived. / We shall now / witness the unveiling of the monument of our University founder, Dr. Pedro T. Orata. SAYAW Wreath Laying SAYAW / We now move along to the wreath laying on Dr. Pedro Orata’s monument. / / The laying of wreaths is an integral part of many remembrance services , / / and highlights the functional and commemorative role of an individual. It / allows us to pay our respects and lay our tribute to them. / The laying of wreath will be done sequentially starting with the Board of Regents headed by Mayor Julio F. Parayno, followed by the Acting University President, the OIC Vice Presidents, Directors, Office Heads and College Deans.
