Popular culture, also known as pop culture, is the variety of attitudes, ideas, images, and
perspectives, which are heavily influenced by social media, we use pop culture in our everyday
lives. Pop culture is the food we eat, the media we consume, and the clothes we wear. It
influences our social interactions and permeates our everyday lives. This is especially true in the
modern age of the Internet and social media, where pop culture is pretty much inescapable.
Social media largely influences how we engage with pop culture because it is pop culture.
Memes, trending topics, and fandom communities are all examples of how pop culture has
expanded into online spaces.
Q.1 In reality, popular
culture has influenced a wide range of individuals. With the advent of social media, it has become easier
to disseminate culture across the globe transforming the world into one global society. This has also
seen the penetration of pop culture into various aspects of society.
Pop culture affects society in many ways. The first and most rudimentary effect of pop culture is how it
builds and strengthens interactions with people who are also into the same kind of things. Aside from
that culture of children's play changed at unprecedented rates during the past years. The causes are
multiple and linked to changes in technology. Indeed, technology has greatly changed how children play
with the popularity of the online games, XBox, PSP, iPad, celphone games and other hi-gadgets, Children
nowadays prefer to use this gadgets rather than to play traditional Filipino street games like Luksong
Tinik, Patintero, Tumbang Preso, Sipa, Holen, Piko.

by all members of society. It always
depends on the vast majority of people
on the earth consuming mass media.
In addition, popular culture is usually associated with either mass culture or folk culture, and
differentiated from high culture and various institutional cultures. The association of popular culture
with mass culture leads to a focus on the position of popular culture within a capitalist mode of
economic production. In either case, popular culture comes to be defined by the taste of the masses,
inflected with either positive or negative connotations.

I believe what makes popular culture unique as part of the development of social culture is that the
opportunity
it gives people to challenge the
dominant beliefs and behavioral
norms is what distinguishes
popular culture as part of the
development
of social culture.
Aside from that,Pop culture shows that we are not really different from those in other countries and
that through pop culture, humanity can become even closer than it already has because people have
been able to experience other cultures and different styles of art that they never would have been able
to explore before. This has allowed humanity to become closer than ever and allows us to share similar
experiences.

from longstanding cultural practices
C. While high culture is the subset of experiences that defines those in the highest class of society.
People associated with high culture are part of an elite class who often have political power;
they are the ones who attend the ballet or opera on the weekends.

comparable to popular culture in that it
is generated by people, whereas popular
culture is also made by people but is
more improved and advanced. They connect to each other whereas the audience can watch them both

community. It promotes creativity and becomes the source of employment for many artists. Thus, it

and teleconferencing, a specialized learner can access knowledge through a conference halfway across
the world without leaving that persons' home.
