Applications on prescribed forms are invited for admissions in the following degree programs:

Subject requirements may be sought from the relevant department(s) before applying
✓16 years of education OR 4 years education in relevant field with minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0
or 65% marks in Annual system, no 3rd Division in the academic record
✓UGAT: University Graduate Test (UGAT)/ GAT General is mandatory with at least 50% passing
marks.
✓Departmental Admission Test/Interview:

✓A candidate having an MS/M.Phil or equivalent degree in Business Administration/Management
Sciences/Commerce from an HEC recognized institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or
3.5 out 5.0 or 65% in semester system or first division in Annual system and with no third division in
academic record is eligible to apply.
✓UGAT: UGAT (Subject) or GAT (Subject) (Management Sciences) conducted by National
Testing Service(NTS).
✓Departmental Admission Test/Interview: UGAT (With 70% scores) will be mandatory in
Departmental Test and viva will be conducted by department.

*LLM / MS:
In case of the
teachers of the
University/ Degree
Colleges engaged in
postgraduate
teaching and
employees of the
research
organizations
engaged in research,
the Vice Chancellor
may relax the
condition of 2nd
division in
Matriculation or
HSSC examinations
passed by them on
compassionate
grounds.
Important Note: 1. Candidates are required to bring original documents/ degrees for verification at the time of interview.
2. Foreign students may apply directly to the University. However, admission of the eligible candidates will be confirmed only on provision of the NOC from Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Pakistan.
3. Where the number of Candidates is less than requirement, the decision of the commencement of the class will finally rest with the Authority.
4. All the employees of public sector organizations have to produce the certificate of study leave/ NOC from their respective head offices/ departments to pursue their studies as regular
students.
Admission Application
Process
1. Online Application forms can be downloaded from the official website of University of AJ&K, against the payment of Rs. 1900/- through HBL Challan available at authorized branches in
AJ&K. or alternatively (in case the candidate is outside AJ &K) by sending Bank draft of Rs. 2000/- from any bank, in the name of Director Finance & Planning University of AJ&K..
2. Alternatively the application forms (PDF) can also be downloaded from the University website www.ajku.edu.pk against the payment of Rs. 1900/- through HBL Challan.
3. Candidate applying for more than one departments/ categories should deposit Rs. 600/- per additional form.
4. Hard Copy of application form Completed in all respects must reach to the Directorate of Students’ Affairs on or before the last date.

(3) Migration certificate in case of Masters/ Graduation from institutions other than AJ&K University. (4) A copy of National Identity Card or Form-B (5) Four recent passport
