February, 2021 ABSTRACT Micro-grids are the integration of distributed generation in the distribution network for effective energy delivery to the electrical energy consumers. Micro-grids are effective sources of energy as they provide clean, friendly and cheap energy and the energy sources are connected to the existing utility. However, micro-grids pose many issues to the utility due to their operational characteristic. These issues in micro-grid system include transient switching stability problem, voltage collapses, voltage and frequency fluctuations.
